Doubt we are going to get him tbh, he has said that he wants to continue his career in Spain although Real Madrid are the only club I think who are interested in him but will At. Madrid sell to their fierce rivals is a different matter so we still have hope of seeing him in the PLM :)

Btw, Chelsea Discussion Thread reaches 1000 replies :) :)

No it isn't a footballing matter at all, regardless of being a team mate or not. It may well have had an effect on the relationship between Bridge and Terry which would transpire on the pitch, but the actual act had nothing to do with football.

Again, it was a behind closed doors event and was a private grievance between Terry and Bridge. Therefore, it has nothing to do with me, you or Fabio Capello.

It has everything to with Capello, as involved tw england team mates at the tim, and clearly affected the squad, anything that affects the England side is his business

I still don't agree with you, the act was nothing to do with football, its a private matter, regardless of whether it affected the decision of Bridge to play with Terry or not.

If thats the case, the club should have simply fined Bridge, transfer listed or worst case, sacked him, it is not his decision when he should play or who he should play with. Same at national level, if he wouldn't play, drop him from the squad and state that until he changes his stance, he won't be considered for selection. Stripping Terry of the captaincy was not a just punishment for what happened, especially as the action had the most detrimental effect of all. In reality, the big loser out of the whole situation was Capello as it exposed a weakness we had not seen. He should have just stuck to his guns and said it had nothing to do with Team England.

It affected England with Bridge retiring from England Duty, As terry was still playing..

The right course of action was taken.

For all you Chelsea fans who do not have Chelsea TV it is availible to watch for free this weekend I believe :).

Its not a team mates wife....... Its not a footballing matter, it is a personal matter, and if Giggsy can pull Imogen thomas.. I willing to shake his hand.

They weren't married and weren't even together when JT had the affair.

If Terry did sleep with the bird then it was when her and Bridge had split up so its not as bad. Off the field what Giggs done is a thousand times worse than what Terry done. But in my mind neither of them are footballing matters.

Aguero aint coming ;] deal with it. Im ****** ****** disappointed, but hey, thats football. Players have the final say, so if Kun doesnt wanna play for us, thats fine. :)

When the affair happened they where together, But when the news broke to public knowledge, They wherent.

They hadent been together for years, also she said nothing sexual happend so its not proven. But like i say neither are footballing matters.

The affair happened 18 months before it broke, When the affair happened they where together.

Terry admitted it... So yeah, She can deny it all she likes, but she is a gold digging *****, who along with Terry cheated on Bridge.

The alleged affair happend late 2009 and it came out in February 2010 so thats not 18 months. Not once did Terry admit it, he just hid away from it all. Moralely what Giggs done is much worse by a country mile but he wont get half the slack.

The reasons giggs isnt getting all the slack is:

1) It didnt affect anything related to football
2) He isnt English
3) he wasnt captain.

The Affair happened in 2008..... Thats why Bridge left Chelsea.

No Wayne Bridge announced he had split up with Vanessa Perroncel in December 2009, but they hadn't actually been seeing each other for a few months. JT started having an affair with her in about October 2009 (Bridge had just separated with Perroncel) and they split up in January 2010.

No, it didn't lol.

Sorry for the 'old' quote but... I found this sort of hilarious. What did Terry have to do for it to 'have something to do with football'? **** her on the pitch during a match? If a co-worker shagged my wife/gf I wouldn't be too happy to see him, and it would certainly affect my performance at work.

What they do in their private lives its their business; the only reason terry's actions annoyed me is that it had an effect on the england sqaud, otherwise i wouldnt give two figs, in the same way i get ****** off at people who slag off Cole becuase of Cheryl, not even their business

Might be zoomed but oh well.

Pastore nears Palermo exit

With Sneijder commiting his future to Inter, Pastore could be the answer to our lack of creativity in the middle of the park.
