If Arsene wenger can go 5 maybe 6 seasons without a trophy and not get sacked

Surely Carlo Ancelotti after 1 season without a trophy after a double in his first cant get sacked?

Difference is your owner isent Roman Abramovich lol.

No Trophies this year Chelsea fans, what is your opinions on this.

We are all delighted! Seriously, what kind of reaction do you want? Of course every Chelsea fan is going to be gutted. :)

If Carlo does get sacked I can see us going back for Hiddink who did well for us a few years back. Hope Roman backs Carlo this summer if he does remain at the club. Squad needs some changing.

Out

Drogba
Anelka
Kalou
Malouda
Paulo
Bosingwa

In

One or two of - Aguero, Neymar, Hulk
A creative midfielder - Sneijder, Pastore
An out and out winger (Not had a player who can commit defenders since Robben and Duff) - Hazard, or maybe even bring back Robben

Bring back Sturridge from Bolton
Give the likes of McEachran, Bruma, PVA, and Kakuta more playing time.

Hoping for a team looking something like this:

Cech
Ivan/Luiz - Luiz/Alex - Terry/Bruma - Cole/PVA
Essien/Mikel
Ramires/McEachran - Lampard/Pastore
Sturridge/Hazard - Torres/Hulk - Aguero/Kakuta

Doesn't seem too unrealistic ;)

CJACKO11, you want to, if the offers right, sell Ashley cole and you want to sell Bosingwa, so Patrick Van Aanholt will get enough appearances? Really?
I think you may be overrating this guy. If he doesn't get enough appearances next season it's probably because he's not good enough.

Sturridge over Hazard?

Nothing like a snap reaction Eh?

Suprised knowone has bought this to light but FA Youth cup holders Chelsea drew Manchester United in the Semi Finals which is played over 2 legs. The first leg was on Sunday at a packed Stamford Bridge and it was a sensational game, here are the hi-lights for all to see and i advise everyone to watch.

YouTube - Chelsea 3-2 Manchester United Highlights | The FA Youth Cup Semi-Final First Leg 10/04/2011

I watched the full 90minutes and although Chelsea dominated in the 1st half and could have been 3,4-0 up (just a shame Milan Lalkovic cant finish) Man Utd fully deserved their 2 goals in the 2nd half. 2nd leg should be intresting but i will add away goals do not count in this competition.

Ok now this is what Chelsea need to do in the summer.

Keep:
Ancelotti - Great manager but does have flaws. Needs to learn from them but we need to keep a manager for once
Drogba - Although he is getting on you just know he still has a few years left in him

Definatly Sell:
Malouda - One good season but that is it. Worst player in Chelsea's squad at the moment
Hilario - Just not needed on the wage bill
Zhirkov - Never really dont it
Anelka - Huge wages and dosent look intrested YET AGAIN
Bosingwa - Ok first season but injury looks to have finished him, im sure Boas would take him back to Porto

Maybe Sell:
Cole - Only if the offer is decent i.e 15mill+. Dont want to lose PVA because lack of first team appearences and Cole is getting on
Drogba - If the offer is right and Anelka stays
Alex - Only if the offer is decent i.e 8mill+ and Bruma stays at the club for back-up

Sign:
Neymar - Play him on the left with a floating free role, he would be devastating

Bring Through:
Van Aanholt - proving it again in the Championship
Kakuta - Maybe, just maybe he will excell this time round
McEachran - Deserves more minutes
Sturridge - Deserves more STARTS

You've said this before about cole, but i'd put bertrand ahead of PVA and even then they are still vert raw, wouldnt sell cole for 15 millin

WHat odds can you get on Torres never scoring a chelsea goal? Be interesting cause i think he might leave in the summer.

Bosingwa offeres nothing to the first team so lets get that one out the way. I love Cole he is getting on and i would rather not lose a possible replacement in PVA because he wont get games. He is good enough to get games i can guarrentee that.

PVA offeres much more than Bertrand. He is quicker, better defensivly, better attacking, better in the air and a much better crosser. He is a better crosser than Cole. My point is i dont want to lose a possable Cole replacement because if we dont replace sooner rather than later then we will lose him and then in a few years time we will be looking for a new replacement when we had one a few years ago.

Pretty shocking i would think, Torres will not leave in the summer just no way. He will want to prove himself simple as that and im backing him to do just that.

Wouldn't mind Kenny splashing <20mil out on Cole.

Van Der Wiel was strongly linked with Chelsea. Are Chelsea interested in him anymore?

Top RB. Much better than Bosingwa.

If Roman is ****** with his Investment, expect him to leave. that is all

still very much wanted, Arsenen is leaving but he strongly advised Chelsea to make a move in the summer. I expect 2 or 3 signings in the summer to bolster the side, and support Torres

IMO Chelsea do not need to buy they need to sell. If they want to keep Torres, Drogba must go. Also think Ferreria, Hilario and other who just clog up the wage bill need to go.

Torres will find form. Sell; Drogba, Anelka, Hilario, Bosingwa, Ferreria, Malouda and Alex and sign; Pastore, Neymar, Hazard, and a back up keeper. Give McEarchan and Sturridge some playing time as sturridge has proved vital for Bolton.

Honestly I don't think Chelsea is a very well built team right now. Over the years, Chelsea's preferred formation has been the 4-3-3, and that's all they used this year til Torres came. Yet they don't even have wingers! There's Malouda, who is incredibly inconsistent (and it seems a lot of fans want him to leave), and there's Anelka, who isn't even a winger! After that, who? Benayoun? A team as big as Chelsea should have better players to fit their preferred formation.

Their squad suits them better for a 4-4-2 with a central midfield diamond (no wingers). Put Mikel as the holding midfielder, Lampard and Essien in the middle, and Malouda as the attacking midfielder. Switch in Ramires when you like. Up top, you have to go with Anelka and Drogba/Torres. Because Drogba and Torres have shown they don't make a good partnership (they both play too far forward, whereas Anelka is more likely to drop back and receive balls). I don't know, I don't think this is a well-built team, it's a random bunch of players bought by Abrahamovic's riches. I think the squad needs to be overhauled by someone with a vision for the team Chelsea will be over the next 4-5 years. I hope they decide to let CA be the guy to do so. They have to finish in the top 4 though.

If any of those midfielders deserve to start, Curtis, it has to be Ramires. He's been there best player for me recently and has shown real quality for his first season.

I guess it's evident that Chelsea need to get younger players, their Starting 11 + 7 Subs has an average age of 28.16, with a total team age of 507, however it's no excuse for failure or progression. If we look at Manchester United's average age from their Starting 11 + 7 Subs it averages an age of 27.72 with a Total Age of 499. So with both teams average ages rounded down and up, they are both a total of 28.

I guess the difference is that United already have young talent coming through that plays fairly regularly; Rafael, Fabio, Anderson, Smalling, Hernandez. Chelsea also have some good young talent such as Sturridge, and a few others, however they are not played or play an actual role in the team. They either need to start introducing them, or sell them and buy other young talent they'd actually use, because otherwise Chelsea is going to realise they have a team of retiring 30 year old's with no replacements and face a real dilemma.

Just outlook on the subject.

I would think many teams would be after him but i know we were intrested but its been abit quiet lately on the Van Der Wiel front.

Who would he be ******?? I dont expect him to leave in the summer. If things dont go well next season then yes i fully expect him to leave at the end of next season but he will get the whole of next season to regain his goalscoring touch.

The Utd youngsters you names have all been in and around the Utd first team for what 2-3 years now so they are fully expirenced at the top level. But the young lads at Chelsea with the exception of Sturridge all came through this summer and wearnt used to being in and around the first team and playing week in week out. Thats why we sent them out on loan in January so they can gain first team expirience and come back better and nearer to the finished article.

Couldnt agree more, Ramires was the last person (after Cech) who i wanted to get sent off last night if i had a choice. He was our only midfielder in the game and was actually trying to make things happen. Sensational signing and the scary thing is he will get better and is only 24!!!

I suspect the best way if we wanted to accomodate Torres now would be to play a Xmas tree with Benayoun and another behind Torres with Essien, Lampard and Ramires in midfield.

Yeah I wouldn't mind seeing an xmas tree maybe get Miralem Pjanic or maybe Neymar. Wouldn't be surprised if we got Kaka to play there though because of the rumours about his future and also because he was part of the xmas tree at Milan. Hope we don't get him though because I feel it would delay the use of our youngsters.

Alternatively I would like to see us play 4-3-3 again but with two new wingers who actually play on the wings, although I like Zhirkov so I wouldn't mind if we got one new winger for the right like Robben (can't see that happening though). Plus with both of these formations and players we could have Kalou/Sturridge/Anelka on the bench to play as wingers/strikers and Kakuta who could play in the xmas tree or on the wing. Think I've given up on Malouda though now as he doesn't seem to want to play well consistently.

HIs Investment has failed completely, we all know Romans lacks patience.
