No, just no. Lampard can't play at the top for 3 more years. He's 33 years old already, and after the injury he got last season he's going to start getting more and more injured more often. He's getting old now, and he'll start winding down now. He won't be involved as much this season, hence why you're looking for a new CM.

Sigh, of course they are. It's one of those ****** stupid media myths. Madrid know the value of buying young players and building for the future, else they'd buy a whole bunch of old, experienced, proven wingers rather than Ozil, Sahin, Khedira and so on.

Thing is, Arsenal and United would have the money to buy to replace them if they didn't. You wouldn't, as I explained.

Just beacause we come out and say we have this and this losses does not mean we are going to self-combust and drop out of the top 4 in a few years, there are obviously future plans put in by Roman and the Chelsea Board which none of us know about and it would be unfair to come to any sort of conclusion before we know these plans so only time will tell

When Lampard stops playing as much as he is now, where do you get your goals from. Consisdering he scores 20+ goals a season very regularly for the last 6/7 years, when he stops doing that how do you replace those goals. We replaced Scholes' goals with goalscoring wingers, but we had to go through a transition period where we didn't win the league for 3 years. Roman won't put up with that.

New tactics can get goals out of different players, just because we lost a goal scoring midfielder does not mean we will be scoring 20 goals less every season now... if the tactics are sutiable why cant the likes of Modric and Moutinho score, its really just a case of which tactic you employ

Just think of it in FM Terms...

In your first season Hernandez is your top scorer cos he is playing off Rooney

Next season you deicide to employ different tactics and you want Hernandez to play as a lone striker and drop deep to find space between the lines and supply your Inside Forwards

Would you expect him to score the same amount of goals every season, I hope you get what I mean

I'd take him too, but we seem to be after him every year and then nothing happens. And what happens to Ivanovic? or does that mean Alex will leave? Because Ramos will want to play pretty much every game so that will probably mean Ivanovic challenging for a CB spot, but we also have Luiz, Terry and Alex. If Ramos is willing to rotate then it will work very well, but I doubt he will be.

well at Chelsea there are no guarantees for starting place. if he plays good and if he is persistent he will be given a chance every game, but if he is diffident and makes a lot of dumb mistakes, well he aint gonna play. as simple as that. these days football is so competitive. the best are starters the others warm the bench.

Why cant Lampard play 2-3 more seasons?? The man has had one injury in 10years at Chelsea and all of a sudden he is going to be injury prone now??? The man played half a season last year yet still managed to get 12 goals!!!

Why cant he lol?? 12 goals in just over half a season last season is not that bad is it!!! And you think thats the only reason you didnt win the league?? If thats the case then thats very naive of you indeed, you didnt win the league because you wearnt the best team that year simple as that.

But buy they PVA will be 22 and may want to move on as he feels he wants first team football. We dont want to lose arguably our next left back for the next 10years do we.

WE DONT, **** right maybe we should send him on loan to Bolton or some team like that, to gain first team experience, and the moment Ash goes, he comes in. as simple as that. he just have to wait. maybe at least one season more. if Ash stays this summer of course, if he goes , PvA is the man for the job. but im tellin you, nothing againts him or something, he is just not experienced yet, BELIEVE me goddamnit. He aint good enough... he just aint. if we want to compete in CL, we need ASH. as simple as that.

I swear every decent prospect gets spoken about as a loan target to Bolton lol. I personly think PVA is good enough, yes of corse he isent as good as Cole but more than likely he never will be. We just need a decent enough replacement and i think PVA is.

very much doubt Ramos will be coming to Chelsea, Real Madrid have always rated him highly and there will be no pint swapping him for Cole as they will just get another good LB in addition to Marcelo and a void in the RB Position
