Madrid are in for him too now apparently. £26M the deal just whoever he wants to go to really, no formal offers have been made yet though.
Also, what do you feel about this Chelsea fans? Apparently you're set to bid £7M and Didier Drogba for Arda Turan..
Getting rather annoyed by the reports that Sturridge is wanted at a mere 6million!!!! Thats when you know its paper talk, Sturridge is worth much more than that. Not too sure about the Turan deal, he is ok but nothing special in my mind. I have already said i think we will keep hold of Drogba for this season and then his contract runs out and he can go back to Marseille without them paying a fee so its a win-win for all partys.
On a brighter note i have just purchased my ticket for the Pompey-Chelsea friendly so im pretty happyb (unless my daughter decides to be born on that day then i wont be chuffed)!!!

Chelsea's £27m bid for Barcelona's Villa turned down as Blues also pursue Coentrao
dont care for Villa's bid, but what about Coentrao? is he a worthy replacement of ASHLEY ? whataya think. i mean ive seen him play he is good and all that, but is he good enough i trust AVB though.

Having Villa looks like a dream that will never happen according to me... much more sense to buy Falcao who is younger if we are in for a striker that is
and Lamps is also the second highest person on the assists table ever in the PLM

I see no point in getting him at all, we already have PVA to cover for Cole who will go on for another 3 seasons at least and all we have to do is slowly bed in PVA into the team, our money would be better spent elsewhere
i dunow, all of you are so confident that PvA will be good enough to wear ashley's boots , but im not. I think he aint gonna be something special at all, and if Coentrao has the potential of being a super-class back, then i say go for him.. dontknow, i hope ashley stays.
whats the point in paying 30 odd million for him, for starters his wages will be huge and if PVA has the potential its only fair he is given a chance for a couple of seasons at least

You are forgetting how good Cole really is. Not many left backs in the world are better than Cole so no matter who replaces him they wont be as good will they. But as PVA is only 20 he will get better but he needs a big run of games and trust in him to get better.
no point splashing 30m for Coentaro (sp)... there are younger and cheaper LBs on offer if we look
