Lol, Petr.
United looked stronger side initially, yes, they'd have had to slowed down regardless of the goal. You can't press with that energy for more than 30 minutes, Hull did it to some extent for first half and then got tired, same happened with United. They had to get tired, they did. Their pressing initially was very aggressive, though.Don't over-exaggerate Eto's performance. Everything went for him today. You'd actually have to be **** (or Fernando Torres) to miss his 2nd and 3rd goals.
United looked the stronger side until the deflected goal. Thought the red card was harsh. And how was that little brazilian kid still on the pitch after that two footer at the end?
I'll never understand premier league referees.
Maybe its just his face but De Bruyne comes of like a spoiled brat. Wow he didn't eat chocolate, truly legendary accomplishment that will inspire generations.

Have not watched it yet but seeing some comments from Schemeichal tonight on MOTD2 stating Chelsea are not in the title race. Honestly how petty can you get!
Well, that 2 point barrier is an obstacle you simply cannot overcome of course. It's just unsurmountable
Totally agree mate! I mean its not like we have 16 games left with City and Arsenal still to play is it!

Loving all the hate De Bruyne is getting and taking the coke and chocolate thing out of context.
He said the club offers everything (those two being an example) and he's avoiding it all, working on his days off and lost a decent bit of weight. Reminds me of all the people calling Lukaku mentally weak and afraid of working for his place when wanting to go out on loan.
Then again it's Mourinho who can do no wrong.
If that is indeed the quote, that the club offers it but he avoids it all, works his days off, reduced his weight - then I'd consider this exactly what he needed to do, it just wasn't enough to get in the side ahead of Hazard/Oscar/whoever, and he had to be moved on. Well done to Abramovich/whoever your sporting director is to get them moved on for an amount which has covered his salary at the club, though.
I havn't seen the original context of this, but eating a bit of chocolate and cola isn't much of a problem in small amounts considering the metabolism of a pro athlete, the problem comes from addiction consumption levels. Some of my friends are semi-pro athletes, and have trained for Team GB in fields such as rowing and I train myself very often, and the amount of calories they burn through in a day is ridiculous. They get to the point where they cannot physically be bothered to eat the amount of food they use in a day, it turns food into a chore. Refined sugars certainly arn't good for you in large amounts, but you don't become an athlete at the level De Bruyne is at without dedication and discipline.

It just sounds like a rather pathetic justification of how 'hard' he has been working yet couldn't get into the side. If he said something like ... Oh I actually worked on the weaknesses in my game or something along those lines then yes maybe that would have been better. Staying off chocolates and coke and reducing his weight are the type of accomplishments a school athlete would be proud of. Not a professional footballer. It's good that he trained on his days off although that's what most footballers at this level would do if they were hardly playing so nothing extraordinary there
I stand by my point. Mourinho is the one who convinced him to stay in the summer so anyone who says this was another of Mourinho's power plays is talking out of their ****. De Bruyne's definition of 'hard work' probably didn't fit Mourinho's definition. Simple
