What I see best about this deal, and a big advantage over Costa deal (That is believing the Luiz swap rumours and some cash involved), we won't have any FFP hit for his transfer fee.
He's also even more of a **** then Costa, so Carl should like the idea.
I'm not sure you know how much of a **** Costa it. They're not really comparable.
I am 0% surprised at that figure about Ramires. I don't want to slate him because i know he cannot play in a 4-2-3-1 as i have said for a while now but wow he was **** this season.

Unless Costa bites people they pretty much are comparable.
Either way he would be a brilliant signing, I giggle at very idea of Jose parking a bus playing a long ball on Mandzukic and everybody crying a river about XIX football.

I thought Mandzukic's fascist salute accusations were dropped because they were groundless? Either way, no denying he's a bit of a throwback to the hardman era. He'd thrive in the Prem.
His salutes were towards released Croatian generals. I do not wish to sound bitter because that was dark age of Balkan, but some of those generals were following Ante Pavelic's routine of 'erasing' everything that isn't catholic/Croatian. When he realized what he has done, he changed his story to saluting Bayern fans. And then German Inquisition fell on his back so he changed his story back to supporting generals. So yea, in my book he's fascist as they come.

Yea, those two among others. Funny, first verdict was something like 30 years combined, and after appeal they were released and they dismissed everything against them. There conspiracy theory about EU not willing to have country that was based on a genocide and, how do you say it in English, national purification of unclean blood that are Serbs, Jews and Gypsies. I have no idea what really happen.
It's shame people like Simunic have any sort of influence on people. Someone made FB page to support Simunic after he said what he did and that page had over 200k followers. Croatia has around 4.5m people. Not all 200k supports the idea of him saying that, but still, those numbers are terrifying. Serbs and Bosnians are no better as well, it's a ******* land of idiots. I've lost so many friends in high school because of this nationalism. I hate it with passion. I hate every national decision, I hate every nation. Basically I hate people. My mother is from Croatia, my father is from Serbia and I was born in clusterfuck that is Bosnia and Herzegovina. It's basically mini Yugoslavia. I don't know how old you are and how much do you know about it. Nevertheless, it ******* full with idiots with no prosperity so they have to apply their frustration somehow. Best thing to do that is to feel safe. best way to feel safe is to be part of group. And that group, based on panic and fear, is getting bigger and bigger. That's why those 'nationalists' are so loud. It's bad.
I follow it a bit, I have a couple of Slavic friends so I take more of an interest than most in the situation surrounding Bosnia, Croatia et al. We actually don't get taught about it at all growing up in Britain, and the whole situation is rather glossed over. Often people simplify the situation and turn it into a black and white situation, bit like they do with Ireland (which is the closest Britain can offer to the situation) and just vilify anyone without understanding it. It's a shame.
But hey, wrong thread! This thread is for Mourinho bashing.

In Aussie, Croatians and Serbs have their own schools. In Croatian school there is picture of Ante Pavelic. In Serbian there is picture of Draza Mihajlovic. And in both those schools teachers are teaching how those two were amazing people. You can google those two. So yea, one man's hero is definitely another man's butcher.
What's the point? You'll sell Lukaku this year and then trade Mandzukic + Cash for him next year.
