The FIFA 12 Thread

I couldn't care less about whether they've changed the nets or made the crowd look better. I would much prefer to see game play change which has happened so i'm happy. If you can't see beyond the graphics of a game you shouldn't be playing FM.
 
I like the changes to the tactical defending, and i expect the finished product to be even better.
 
@alicwkd On the fifa 11 demo you could score from the halfwayline with a full power finesse shot, i doubt it will be that easy to cut in and score in the real game

Probably won't play manager mode that much, I never really get into it as I prefer H2H, clubs and UT.

Seriously though, never had anything that extreme, just some irritating moments.
 
Currently on Amazon (And probably elsewhere), the Special edition of FIFA12 is just two pounds more expensive than the regular, so you may well just pre-order that one if you want to get the game.

or go Game/Gamestation.. get 24 UT packs instead of the 18 in the special.

Indeed, but that edition is £45. I am willing to spend 2 more quid than the 39 but not 6. Not even fond of UT.

Clubs is the only thing I play on FIFA nowadays, but I might dabble in some UT with my (practically) free packs.

Played for the first time against another person today and the game is better for it. IMO there still needs to be much more movement from the strikers, you get to the final third and no one is making angles for a through ball- that's just my experience of FIFA anyway.
 
i'm **** with the new defending and I always struggle to keep posession

5-2-1-2 with Gabby and Bent up front, crossing all day every day
