Basically Livorno fell away horribly towards the end of the season, and AlbinoLeffe were coming from a 9 point deficit, so it was a 3 way battle for the top 2 towards the end of the season. Coming into the last game of the season I had Cremonese away and Cagliari were away to Torino- I was in third place 2 points behind them. So if they drew I would come 3rd, if one team won then I had to win to come 2nd. Cagliari won 3-2, but I was 0-0 until a 93rd minute penalty got me the win. I was ecstatic.

Full updating pending- but wahey. Taking over the NT squad and trying to strengthen to hopefully stay in Serie A.

@Mullen: I started my game on 12.0.2 so not sure Biordi is the same in latest updates. His attributes might also be random so who knows... he looked very good in my game (for SM standard) right from the start. As for Scorza, I use classic tactics but he'd probably be a typical poacher. My whole tactic really works for the lone striker, especially my inside forwards who act more as playmakers. AMR/L left on right & right on left, through balls often + direct passing and Scorza will destroy any team :)

@Andy: never mind finances for the first couple of years. If you can manage a good Italian Cup run then that will help. I agree with Brian on Cesarini and Scorza, both excellent strikers for C1.

@wkdsoul: that's amazing mate just one question. How the **** you got Mirko Palazzi out of int.retirement??? he always rejected for me...

*Movin' on up! Finished 2nd despite winning 6 of the last 7 including a victory over the winners AC Milan.
*Poor Bologna. 27 match winless streak lol.

*All 4.5 star P.A. expected to become leading/important first team players. Unfortunately ALL of them are Italian as well so it'll be a few years until they opt for the S.M. NT, if at all.

New/Incoming Signings

*No relevant N.T. updates...I'm doing awful with them at the moment.

great season and even greater regens! Conti & Filippi look like world class prospects to me! And never mind the NT, if you have looked at my story thread then you have seen my "spectacular" results including a 0-5 against MYANMAR XD

out of curiosity, any SM regens created at other clubs as of 2018???

Thanks! And yeah, I've had my fair share of humiliating defeats, but perhaps not as bad as yours... hall of shame, perhaps? :P

As for your question, there haven't been any thus far :(. My U20's/reserves are almost literally the only SM eligible players with any value whatsoever. To be honest though, I don't think it matters too much this year. The quality of regens is ridiculously high and I guarantee you could make an entire national team comprised of only your youth intakes and still be quite competitive. Sure, it'll take at least a decade, but I'm starting to get the the point of complete self-sufficiency in terms of producing my own national team from only my U20s. It's quite exciting :D.

Also, I made sure to follow your foreign staff scouting knowledge theory. I looked at my staff's scouting knowledge (ensured they only had prior knowledge of 1 or 2 countries!) but there still doesn't seem to be a 'San Marino' bar. I'm assuming it's increasing behind the scenes since they aren't "real" scouts?

you hurt my feelings with that ;) in my defence I will say that SM 2011/12 was REALLY hopeless, mighty Myanmar were about 180th in FIFA rankings and Aldo Junior had a ridiculously bad game in goal... 0-5... sigh...

that's quite disappointing as at least Juventus (with their SM coaches) should have produced some Sammarinese in 7 seasons. Seems to me that FM12 is less generous than FM11 in this particular aspect. Though it's MUCH more rewarding with youth intakes, which is actually more important. Looks like a cantera policy like A.Bilbao could be a realistic long-term goal now :)

actually NT staff will develop a SM bar, it just takes time (2-3 years). Like this:

Woah I wasn't even aware that Juventus had any SM staff to begin with. Hmmm, maybe just a little unlucky I guess. Can't complain though--I like having a monopoly on SM regens! Checked out some of my staff and they do in fact have the bar now. I'm just an impatient idiot. XD

EDIT:
Finally. Success! Lethal finishing ensures my first NT victory.

Meanwhile, a star is born. Meet the Youngest ever goalscorer for San Marino. 1 Goal and 2 assists on his debut (H).

Personally had a little bit of success with the National Team. I beat Samoa 3-0 with Vitaoli scoring a hattrick!

I will do a more in-depth update of my most recent seasons with all the Sammmarinese prospects as well (there is a good one that is fully SM produced by Cesena!) But for now I'll just show you something that made me laugh:

Now I'm just wondering.. How would you pronounce his name..?! :D

oooh hat-trick by Vitaioli! I guess he might be close to Andy Selva's record?

spanish regen's name should be something like "huànca". I guess his full name is Juan Carlos something, hence the typical spanish nickname 8-|

Hi guy's, been reading alot about your challenge & thought I'd have a go at it..(I know It's too late to join you guy's on this challenge)

I started With San Marino (the club) and things have been going awsome for me..

View attachment 204906View attachment 204907View attachment 204908View attachment 204909

I won everything & my players dominated most games.

Just wondering If anyone can give me a few player tips for serie C1 ??
also is C1 any harder a league than C2 ??

Not much, most of your players will still cut it, till at least Serie B.

yeah, thats about right till you get till Seire B and you get co-op offers or the board flog your best players over your head. :)

So thought I would give a mid season update of my 4th season and my second in serie B.

Im going really well in the league at the minute and promotion is a must if I am to keep key player Robbie Brady.

I started the season really poorly with 6 losses in my first 10 games and only 2 points from my first 6. Since then I have improved and the run I am on currently has helped massively.

Now the eagle eyed will have seen a few cup upsets against giants in there and I have just qualified for the cup semi final v Palermo after an undeserved win over Milan and a richly deserved win against 2nd place Serie A side Genoa on Penos.

This cup run is vital for me as it might persuade Brady to stay when his contract is up and it also may give me the money to attract him to stay aswell as some replacements for other players.

I will update finances, transfers etc at the end of the season.

Serie B season 2013/14:

View attachment 205039View attachment 205040View attachment 205041View attachment 205042

not only we dominated Serie B, but at the end of the year I found out the U20 team had won both the league (a sort of U20 serie B) and the U20 Cup, beating several serie A youth teams in the process! This is certainly good news for SM football, would be even better if the best regens could accept the **** call up for NT.

most promising prospect of the season:

View attachment 205043

I see him as San Marino midfield general in the future. Now if he only stopped rejecting the NT...

Nice one Andersson... is it sad that in hte early season i couldn't wait for the transfer window to open, now i cant wait for the March 18th regen date baby!! lol..

Oh and my best result ever....
