Go to the scouting screen, add an assignment for one of your scouts, assign to: world, your region or whatever is available,
and add the conditions:
Position_is_striker
And_player value_is beetween_2.000 and 3.000

I was just wondering if someone could explain the way the National Pool works, or point me in the direction of something that explains the details of it. I understand the basics of it, but I'm mainly wondering if it's my responsibility to scour through the new 15-17 year olds each season, find the talented ones, and add them to the National Pool, or if it's done automatically. Or do my Youth Team managers pick from outside the pool, and the players they pick automatically get added, or etc. Or should I just add every single player to the National Pool, and just update it each year.

Sorry for the long-winded question, but yeah, it's something I've never got my head around with FM.

Not that I'm aware of. I think you can recall them if you're the int. manager, so I suppose you could add a load of new managers, call the players up, then FMRTE the old ones back in? Not tried it but it may work
 
I have a question.
I've just started a new game. I've selected Brazil as one of the playable nations. But now the Brazil job is insecure so why can't I declare interest in it? I'm currently managing Man Utd btw. So how can I manage a national team simultaneously?

i don't think you can declare interest for international teams.
 
Managing Brentford, doing quite well, i got a job proposal from Werder Bremen. I don't really feel like leaving, but Werder has some quality players, and I could finally try to win something more dazzling than JPT.

So my first question is: is it possible that I terminate contracts of some of my favourite players from Brentford so I can get them to play in Werder?

And the second one being: what is "Manager/coach job release clause"? Seen it on the contract offer screen, does it allow me to take Brentford players to Werder with me?

i have re-installed fm11 after playing on fm 10 however in between the process of uninstalling fm10 and installing fm 11 i cleared up my laptop. Now when i ope up fm11 it says error- cannot load graphics system or something along those lines. What the **** is this?!
 
Last night I wanted to start a new journeyman save with the italian, french and german leagues and selected the third tier leagues in all countries. Everything was ok until I wanted to edit my profile, there I noticed I couldn't select sunday league footballer as past experience, so I went for automatic. I started unemployed and checked out my profile, where I noticed my reputation was continental. As I don't want to start at the top I tried to start over but no matter what I did, changing my name, nationality, past experience or whatever...my profile always said reputation: continental and past experience: automatic.

Please help me be a lesser known manager at the start of a game.

I'm using 11.3 patch.
 
How do you choose your substitutions? I mean there are only 7 spots and it's just too low for me.
 
hi i have just downloaded the no work permits file but where should i put this file ?
 
I'm wanting to start a new game and fancy managing a non-English team..maybe Italian or Spainsh club..but I'm wondering if having no second nationality will cause language dificulties. Should I always use the second nationality so I can speak the countries language or does it make no difference?

Is there anywhere in the game where you can find out why a player has withdrawn/been withdrawn from international games? My main striker (26-year-old, constantly hitting 40+ goals every season) hasn't played for France for 5 years. I'm just baffled.
 
Hi! How do I utilize Cesc? 9 games into the season: 0 goals, 1 assist, 0 MOTM, Average R 6.88
I play him as a MCR in a 4-3-3 system with 2 inside forwards and a Complete Striker

hi all

i uninstalled FM2011 by deleting all of folders belongs to FM 2011

then i reinstall it but it show this message

The installation of Football Manager 2011 is finished, but some errors occurred during the install. Please see the installation log for details.

i tried many times untill it installed but it gives to me the same message

then i opened the game and tactics and look what i found

I'm really wondering what the point of a "help thread" is if no one actually you know...helps.
There are a few questions here going totally unanswered..surely someone most know the answers to them.
