The " I have a small question" thread FM13

Well, are you going to use him as a DLPlaymaker ? Otherwise it's not exactly a great ppm
Adryan is my Advanced playmaker in central midfield, he's also set as my main playmaker in the team instructions settings. He's managed 5 goals and 8 assists in 16 matches so far this season in that position so he's doing quite well.

Perhaps the coach dont have the skill or the player is not familiar enough in the DMC/MC positions

To dictate temo there is need to have familiarity of DMC/MC position? I am just playing advanced playmaker as AMC and some of them are not familiar with MC position....

I have just assumed that it is this way since its a ppm to dictate the tempo, something you do early in the transition phase.

What's the best way to reduce the number of CCC's the opposition makes? ATM I seem to concede many.

best way to hold on to a lead as i keep conceding late its so frustrating.

Can someone help me abt setting Tight Marking on Defenders esp CB, should i keep it as Tight marking or not....currently have my Full Backs Tight Marking oppo wingers and my winger tm oppo fb....wat to do on CB?

I play a deep 4-2-3-1 (2 defensive midfielders) with an quite high defensive line with an offside trap.
sometimes when the opposition plays around my penalty area(not shure what you call it in English) both of my DMCs fall back into the defensive line which creates much space for the opposítions mcs, which leads to conceding many longshot goals.

What can i do do avoid/fix this?

Unfortunately, that cannot be the issue, they already have an offensive/high mentality (17 on buth)

Hi, I'm not sure I'm in exactly the right place but I didn't want to start another thread.

Anyway, I just wondered whether I should sell Skrtel + Agger, both are 31 so I'm not sure whether it would be worth it to sell them now or just wait until they become poor with no sale value. I have Coates, Wilson, Zouma doing well when the main 2 aren't playing and have developed well. Also I have a young Lloyd Jones with 3 and a half star potential who has been solid in the games hes been needed.

Thanks.

P.S. I play 2 at the back

This is a missunderstanding. The higher the mentaliy, the higher up in the field they will play ( mostly WITH the ball) but mentality also dictates how willing they are to perform their attacking & defensive duties. Here, it might be that their mentality is too high.

Instead, I would lower it with 30% and let them have loose zonal marking AND high closing down,
It's also a part of an engine problem. Since their is too little movement and the players fail recognize then movement that IS there, they just hold their ground.

I need a good tactic to use for away games! i am using TBH's new tactic and it works really well at home and i dont let many goals in at all but away from home i am droping to many points. I lost 3-0 away to Lyon in the Europa League and beat them easy 2-0 at home and i need a good tactic to tighten up and get points from away games. Im Liverpool by the way, any help???

Try dropping the AMWinger into MR/L and give him some more mentality ( 5 clicks ) and runs from deep =mixed. Play really slow and play more narrow ( reduce with 5 clicks)

Well, I'm conceding a lot of goals after crosses from the wingers. Do you think I should tight mark them ? My team is Arsenal.
