They also have a CB crisis because of it, how on gods name they haven't strengthened in this window still (apart from Xhaka) is mind boggling. They are crying out for a striker and a CB at least.
Wow, how could you forget about Rob Holding? :'(

Its about time we reworked our loan system. The past couple of years has seen some baffling loans for our exciting young players.

Absolutely. This 75% financial penalty they've hit upon is brilliant. And the choice of clubs is noticeably different too. Allan getting 75% of a Bundesliga season with Berlin is fantastic and should go a LONG way toward a premy.

Looks like Flanno will be gone to Burnley for the season this weekend which is great for his fitness and playing every week. Should surely DEFO mean a FB of some description will be arriving soon. Lloyd-Jones off to Swindon the year too but he's not having any career here at 21 going on 22 already.

thats if thay play him to be able to get the workpermit is there anything in the loan that thay have to play him in so many games

Yup. It's our new thing for anyone we rate and want to develop. 75% of all games they're fit to play in our else there's financial penalties to the loaning club. It's a loophole way around it they've found as you can't outright demand a player plays on loan. Wigan already pulled out of a deal for that they offered to pay a million for Cameron Brannigan for a year. Only to seemingly have now had an about turn and accepted it.

As he said today on the 75% play penalty thing, 'We give a player on loan, we want that he plays. That's the only reason we give him on loan.'

What happens if he doesn't play 75% of the games? Do we get a compensation settlement?

Yup. They get financially penalised/ we get compensated. Which for smaller clubs completely defeats the object of taking the player so you'd presume if they do, they'll want to play them.

Put's an end to **** like Illori and Wisdom just going to fill out other teams squads and not playing.

Honestly don't know how the immigration regulations work mate but a season playing in the Bundesliga has to surely help him?
i might but i dont know thought it was allways to do with how many caps you got for your nt over a set amount of time

Another sweet loan.

Regain/ prove your fitness this year under a hard task master Dyche at Burnley Flanno lad and come back raring to challenge next pre-season. Your long term future is at Anfield. This is just a prudent short term move to secure that.

I hope we can get 4th - 6th this season, maybe 3rd if we get a good LB in.

This league is very competitive, and most of the teams have strengthened well, buying where they need to.

Am I reading that correctly? Liverpool 4 - 0 Barcelona? Should it not be Barca B or did they play a full strength team??
