That's nice for both the Player and the fans Scouse, fair play.
Just hope He doesn't slip up ;)

What a brilliant start to the weekend.

Stevie back where he belongs, which is just the best possible incoming news we could receive this window. FIFA finally being arsed enough to do what they should of a good few weeks back and put all doubt about Matip's availability to bed. Leaving a real healthy looking squad for the first time in a couple of months.

And after pulling ourselves out of our New Year slumber last Sunday in a game we'd of won were it not for the incompetence of the lino, we now get served the absolutely abysmal and all but down Swansea at Fortress Anfield.

I knew Swansea were bad. But I never realised just how bad until looking this evening. A league worst 49 goals conceded through 21 games. Through their last 10 games, they've conceded 29 goals. Nearly three a game! 7 times this season they've conceded 3 in a game. 3 times 4. And once 5! (L'pool have scored 3 or more in a game 10 times this season.). Arsenal never even had to break sweat against them last weekend. They concede, the doubts run riot and they invariably capitulate. Good luck Clement in getting much of anything out this demoralised shower the rest of the way!

Perfect opportunity to get back to the free flowing, rip roaring attacking football of the first quarter of the season with the captain and Phil back. I'd be well tempted to give Clyne longer with his ribs too and rest Milner. Trent and Alby would be perfect for the amount of attacking space Swansea leave. Hopefully Matip comes in and I'd personally DEFO start Sturridge along with Phil and Bobby. With Lallana and Gini adding to those numbers. Go out and give these a real doing. Although we're still the leagues top scorers it's been too long since we did that. The signs were there at Utd. Now take it out on the sorry Swans! The early kick-off is just the worst but we need to play our part in having the arl place bouncing. 10 of the last 17 at home has set the second half of the title charge up perfectly. A walloping tomorrow leading into the weeks cup games and then Chelsea will be just the ticket.

Comfortable L'pool win by 4 or more goals. Nice to play first for once and let the pressure roll onto everyone else.

Up the Anfield Invincible Reds!

The Club did well here. It will serve the him well to be involved in coaching the kids instead of being fast tracked into involvement with the first team.

Which was aways what both party's wanted from when it was first mooted. Klopp, and nobody else, captains this ship and progression is earned.

Nice to see you've come around on Stevie's return mate.

Just need to get you to realise how consistently consistent Clyne is now ..... :P

What a terrific game for the neutral this is. Brilliantly entertaining. Llorente bullying 'Pools centre halves, Tom Carroll has been superb for Swansea. Terrific goal from Firmino.

The most frustrating thing is that every loose ball in our box has fallen perfectly for them - see Llorente's first and Sigurdsson's goals - and every loose ball in theirs has fallen to a defender or Fabianski. We've outplayed them but haven't had the luck so far

We have a real complacency issue in defence. We seem solid against teams that attack us all game but in games where the defence have only a few attacks to deal with they switch off. So frustrating!

There goes any small chance of the title we had.
