Just curious what was your thought on Martial "penalty" in SOU game?
Martial initialized contact IMO. Also you want you can scroll through United thread to see what I think about Martial's diving.

Mate, you're funny.

When you understand the difference between a blatant dive with no contact to cheat and decieve; and a dive after blatant contact, the second of which negates the first spurious argument in today's game as when players are legit fouled and don't go down, they don't get jack, come back to me.

Until then, feel free to chat utter wham on the wrong targets.

One of the PL's most consistent ever goal scorers would rather go down when clean through than get his shot off ..... What a strange take to try push.
So every contact is a foul?

"One of the PL's most consistent ever goal scorers would rather go down when clean through than get his shot off ..... What a strange take to try push."

Funny, because thats EXACTLY what happened vs City. Diaz put his hand on Salah arm and Salah lost his legs. He was clear on goal, 1 v 1 situation on his stronger left foot and he decided that Diaz tickling his arm is enough for him to go down like soldiers in WW when hit with grenade.

That you don't realise the contradictions in your bizarre attack on players being legit impeded/ fouled/ however you want to term it, is making this funnier.

You've been impeded ..... but woe betide you if you go down from that. Forget the foul. That's a dive. A dive I say! 🤦🏼‍♂️

The second one is bad diving yes.

But regarding the penalty, striker must do it, he was evidently pulled and soft foul. But if he won go down there wont be foul called for sure. Refs and rules have brought this on us. If you dont go down, then probably there was no foul (does not matter how much contact there was).

Diving should be punished more. It is just so seeable, but as there is contact then VAR must say it is a foul...

The bolded there ..... You've just gone to explain that with the underlined.

Fulham comes instantly to mind. Mo get's shoved in the back for a clear foul in the build-up to Fulham's goal. They never even checked it on the VAR review. Costly 2 points from poor officiating. There again, he gets hands in his back from the City player when he's in the air. Clear foul. Regardless of how dramatically or not he's deemed to have fallen. But if he doesn't 'sell it' , he probably doesn't get it again. But because he does fall dramatically, you get this utter nonsense of people completely ignoring the foul and running with the 'diving' B/S.

There's no difference in the point you make for either mate. A foul is a foul. (And 'soft' doesn't come into it. For the penalty, you run at full speed and have your arm tugged and see how that impedes you? Or you can look at the slowed-down version and say it's 'soft', ignore the impediment, and scream 'DIVE!'). The officials have brought this around by not consistently calling them no matter how many times they occur. The players are now in a 'damned if they do, damned if they don't' situation.

To attack the players (unless they have dived with NO contact to try to deceive the officials/ initiated contact themselves that was never there), is to attack the COMPLETELY wrong part in all this. The part that has brought around players having to sell legit foul play against them to make sure it's punished.

Any Reds that don't get that, will NEVER get what makes this football club and City tick. It's what set's us apart from most anywhere else.

Scouse Solidarność. From Shankly through Jürgen and everyone in between, they ALL got it.

Shankly's Holy Trinity, The fans. The manager. The squad. Together as ONE! Now, more than at any other time under Kloppo's magnificent tenure, that mantra needs reinforcing and adhering to.

Through good times AND bad, Scouse Solidarność!

My thoughts on the peno like Martials it’s super soft and most probably shouldn’t of been one. Both dive imo but you give the faintest of feather tickles these days players will go down and you give the ref an decision to make

I’ll be here for yers mate when you understand todays game/ rules. 👊🏻

Whole football world is calling Salah out on those dives, yet we have one smart guy here defending him religiously.

It would be given as a foul anywhere else on the pitch. Yes Salah went down easily, but Dias still changes Salah's body shape by pulling on his arm, which completely effects how the shot will have been taken.

So do you think it should have been foul on Diaz by Salah before that situation? Because Salah put his hand on Diaz's chest, completly changing his body shape, effecting his positioning for the tackle?

Don’t be silly lol you know the answer to that mate 😉

I know we’ve already established you guys don’t have ANY comprehension of the rules or todays game. But the clear agenda against Mo to try dig yourselves out of an ever deepening hole by the passing post is terrific entertainment it has to be said.

Salah put his arm out to shield the ball, which is completely fine. Dias pulled on Salah, not once, not twice, but FOUR times. Now sure how you can argue that its not a foul.

Agenda against one diver while pulling up one of our own players for doing the same thing. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

If you can call that a pull, then Salah pushed Dias off the ball.

It's the Suarez situation once again. Liverpool fans blindly and religiously defending their player even though they are wrong.
