The Liverpool Thread

That too, just can never produce midfield capable of feeding them passes. It's very odd when you think about it, must be something ****** with youth recruitment and training.

Youth developments funny.

This lad really looked the business coming through with the ideal skill-set for what we require in a FB. But then he hit a wall where he was too good for the 23's. But not good enough for our level. And he's been struggling ever since to find just where he fits in the pro-game.

I really thought he was going to be the perfect, local answer to backing up Robbo but that boats now well sailed.

Hopefully he kills it down in South Wales and either sticks at Newport long term to kick-start his career. Or does enough to get noticed elsewhere to be picked up by a club next summer when he inevitably leaves here at the end of his contract.

All the best Adam mate. Both this season and beyond. Your undoubted talent and persevering attitude will hopefully set you up for a good career somewhere yet.

Football's littered with 'late bloomers.'

I think this is a really interesting, good loan for Billy the Kid.

A completely different environment, playing against men, could do his development the World of good. He's got all the raw traits to be a beast of a CH with his physical attributes. Just hasn't put it all together yet. Bounced onto the scene and then struggled with the step up to 23's football with patchy form. But there's a real prospect in there. And he's only 19 so there's absolutely no concern at the dip in his development

Intrigued to see what Austria does for him. And Austria Vienna are in the playoff round for Europa League qualification so there may well be European football for him this year too which would be a super development bonus.

Another informative video from Dr Raj.

For a layman, even without him being privy to individual medical records, they are very useful.
