Said after they worked their backsides off, in an albeit horrid game of football, to get the point they fought so hard for at Chelsea, that was the platform for the ‘Big 9’ push to top 4 …..

4 games into the Big 9, thats 3 wins and a draw. Which should have been 4 wins from 4 if we’d have got what our dominance deserved against Arsenal.

It’s to our detriment as to just how grim this season has been, that three ‘firsts’ this season happened tonight-
5 games unbeaten in a row.
3 consecutive wins in the league.
2 straight wins away in the league.

Superb, dominant away display again. Bar a slow start to the second half, that was a three-quarter game of attack against defence. Three superb goals. (The West Ham opener, completely against the run of play, was a belter web. 👏🏻). Similarly super long range finish from Gakpo. Who just continues to get better and better the more comfortable he gets with us. Real top draw technical footballer there in that effortlessly elegant Dutch style. Really pleasing to see another quick response to a set back ala Sat’day. And a brilliant headed winner from Matip who came in from the cold with a great display. Adding to our dominance both ends the air tonight.

The counter-press high set the tone for everything. (Never understand anyone who complains about our high line when it underpins all our success/ style. 🤷🏼‍♂️). Utterly dominant, controlling display.

Keep on telling us we’ve no chance of CL. We’ll keep throwing that right back at you as they have proved over and over these past 7 years under Jurgen.

6 points. Roll on Tottenham.

UTR! FTT!!!!!

BTW, as much as I remain as confident as I have all season we’ll finish top 4, I still want Newcastle to volley the Ev all over tonight.

Scouse thing. Those Everton relegation parties are going to be EPIC!!!!! 😎

He should have gone. The 'Spurs player should have gone first half on Diaz.

C'est la vie

Too ballooned at the minute to properly comment on what I actually thought was a pretty poor game of football.

Football support is ALL about moments and memories. Yeah, ultimately you want to win trophies. We are Englands most successful football club after all. But finishes like yesterday, an instant standout from such a grim season, that we’ll be talking about forever when you go from from down there at the utter absurdity of even being in the position to throw a game away you were in complete, dominating control of, to just one of the wildest celebrations EVER, to add to the litany of them under Jurgen ….. As a supporter, it doesn’t get ANY better than that!

The fourth win out of four in L’pools ‘Big Nine’ Champions League push was the polar opposite of the game against North London’s other team that preceded it and turned our season. Against Arsenal, we were flat and shocking for half an hour. Then absolutely superb for the rest of a game we should have won comfortably. Yesterday, we were absolutely superb for half an hour when you’re thinking this could be another massive scoreline to add to the many already this year. Playing some of the best football we’ve played all season. Then the game madly goes flat. On and off the park. And L’pool can’t pick it up again. Kanes gifted a way back in for them. They have a dabble for 20 mins either side if half-time when they should equalise. All of L’pools own making. It goes utterly flat again for the next 20. They score a second and have momentum. Then the absolute worst case scenario with the blue rat scoring and doing the most stupid bleeping dance imaginable like he’d just scored the winner in the CL final. 🤦‍♂️ Only for the absolute coolest man on the park, and best finisher by far at the club, to remind Richarlison that Everton and Tottenham are the same in the most Everton/ Tottenham way to ****** defeat from the jaws of a mad comeback. All, lest we forget, from a fella’ who should never have been on the pitch to bring forth those absolutely wild scenes of arms and limbs everywhere among absolute bedlam. Jurgen pulling his hammy in the madness just adds to the absolute brilliance of the moment and memory you’ll never forget. NO better way to win a game of football than that! With wild celebrations that went on long into the night ….. Am I glad its a bank holiday today because my head needs the day off haha.

Absolutely mad game that encapsulated this absolutely mad football season. But one that was SO important to win and experience that shared euphoria with our team again with yet another football miracle that this club specialises in more than any other. Reminding everyone why you NEVER stop believing in them and support them to the whistle. Jurgen’s fist bumps at the end reiterated that.

4 wins out of 4 in the ‘Big Nine.’ Which is rolling like an express train toward the last 5 and a 9 out of 9 finish.

Newcastle and Utd. You’d better hope you keep winning too as this gang of Reds are nowhere near finished yet this season!

Before I forget, to the absolute bleeps that have more money than sense in flying the anti-FSG banner over the ground through the second-half ….. You’ll NEVER understand what Diogo gave us at the end. You’ll NEVER understand this football club and what supporting them is ALL about. Absolute cringe behaviour to do that during a game we are playing. That S is for other fanbases with NO standards. We have standards and it got EXACTLY the reaction it deserved from the ground below. Disgusted scorn. Proper wool behaviour.

Roll on Fulham.

Up the football miracle Reds! FTT!!!!!

Could you coach this into Gakpo? Sure. He is 23 after all but I doubt he hits the heights Firmino once did in that aspect.

He’s doing a ****** outstanding job this far of imitating Bobby mate.

Something I honestly didn’t think we’d find. Superb recruitment to envision this completely new role for him he’s been excelling in. Wonderful player.
