What a superb outing that was between the clear best two sides in this league.

We can win this league yanno’

Let’s start with the fan ‘experience’-

Clubs can say all they like that NFC ‘phone tickets are the future but right now it's not fit for purpose. Absolute carnage getting in. We got up the ground 11:50 AM. I missed the first 5 mins or so of the game! The away section at City is on 3 levels. L1 and L2 paper tickets. L3 was the NFC. Outside, there’s a check before the turnstiles with three separate lanes for each level. (A joke in itself as you all go the same bit the otherside regardless.). L1 and L2 was a breeze and barely any queues. The L3 queue was an absolute farce. Even GMP were like ’We know lads. We’ve had this out with City but they insist on this. Makes no sense to us either.’ Which was far more polite than the gobby Manc bleep of a steward telling us we should have got there earlier! Earlier than 40 mins before KO? ********! And then you get through that to the turnstiles. To find loads of lads ‘phones not working and them being sent back out the queue round City’s TO to get a paper ticket! Defeating the whole object! If the technology doesn’t work, don’t use it! 🤬

Palace, which is always a nightmare getting in. will be great fun being as they are the next to trial this. 🤦‍♂️

City’s Support-

It was hilarious watching the fume as the Ev plane circled, to be greeted with ‘Blue and white *****!…..’ from us ….. Which they madly thought was directed at them so they responded in kind. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

The club did a great job of making sure there was no tragedy chanting during the game. After however ….. Coming down the stairs getting out, you come down parallel to City’s fans leaving with a divide all the way ….. All the way down, we were serenaded with ‘Murderers! Murderers!’ and other anti-Hillsborough chants. Which continued outside. NOTHING changed bar they controlled it so the cameras didn’t hear it through the game.

Horrible, low life rats those bleeps.

’Telling yer, we can win this league yanno’

What a fantastic result that was! From a fantastic game of football. Not a classic. But a game through which, yet again, L’pool and City showed why they are streets ahead of anyone else as they fought out a well deserved draw for both. They had the better of the first half. We had the better of the second. But at no point did you feel we’d lose as we were brave to keep attacking and keep creating chances. As were City. Not all on point. But the chances, and the chances before the chances to create mire chances, kept it enthralling. With the added bonus of one of your own webbing in an absolute beauty to send Guardiola into fits. A point at least the aim before KO. And we did superb to come away with that to put us in such a dominant position it’s untrue. The contrast between our lads celebrating in absolute belief they can win this thing, compared to City being dejected at L’pool being back to their level, was stark at the end.

Normally, this game is at Anfield and we have to go there in April. Not this year! That’s 13 games down, and we’ve not been outplayed in any one of them. We’ve gone away to Chelsea, Newcastle, Tottenham, Brighton and now City and been, at worst, their equal in every game. We’d be unbeaten were it now for the most atrocious day of officiating VAR has ever had at Tottenham. EVERYONE has to come to us the second half of the season with only Arsenal left to visit. (And Utd if you still consider them part of the top 6.). The league is literally in our hands to lose and we are just getting started!

Manchester was great after basking in shutting City up. L’pool was even better as town was bouncing at this awesome group of lads we have again who are proper serious about winning it all!

’We WILL win this F league yanno’!’

Up the Reds! FTT!!!!!

Everton’s fixtures in December are pretty tough.

Dear Santa, please can I have these cheating ***** losing every game possible until May 2024.

And the silence from Liverpool Football Club is deafening. Everton stood shoulder to shoulder with Liverpool over Heysel and when the Hillsborough tragedy happened. Evertonians to this day will not buy The Sun or have anything to do with the Murdoch media. I went to Anfield to pay my respects to the fans who died almost immediately and have also been back to the memorial they built.

But here we are in Everton's darkest moment and Liverpool are silent. I find it disgusting. All they are concerned about is using the moment to go after Man City. No mention of the punishment City should receive for being a Breaway 6 club though… With friends like Liverpool, you don't need enemies.” ‘

What is wrong with them? Like, seriously, what is wrong with them?

Proper strange breed.

They don't understand the bigger picture that Heysel and Hillsborough were disasters which were avoidable and which could have happened to any club, where as the current Everton situation is the result of their club's own F*** up. Yes the point deduction is harsh but if you can't take the punishment don't do the deed.

They are a shower of proper cranks. The fume is unreal considering the club ADMITTED they cheated!

And as for standing ‘shoulder to shoulder’ with us over Heysel …..

Justice for the 39!’/ ‘Murderers/ Murderers!’ /‘39 Italians can’t be wrong!’ et al anybody? 🤦‍♂ Along with (laughably, and VERY sickly), still claiming we caused Heysel to stop them dominating Europe! 🤣🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Brrrrrrrr. Man is it cold this morning. Going to be baltic tonight. But if anything can warm you up, it’s a big Anfield night under the European lights.

Any day you get to watch the Reds is special.

Any day you get to do that in Europe is extra special. Its what we do.

Being able to watch Ben Doak play football is the cherry on the top.

Straight into these Redmen!

First time I’ve had 5 mins to myself today. Super busy Friday so I’ll keep this short. Save to say that was one of the coldest nights at the game in years. Baltic doesn’t begin to cover it! 🥶 Enjoyable game though that went exsctly how group games should. Points gained with minimal effort. Mad how so many put so much on Toulouse which was a nothing game in relation to the group where the result or performance didn’t matter a jot. Kudos to the Lask fans. Brilliant before and after. So made up were they to be at Anfield on the ‘biggest night in their history’ as they couldn’t stop gushing. That mad half the stand sing/ stand up, then the other half was brilliantly coordinated and fascinating to watch. Shout out to their goalie too who had a really good night.

But the single best thing about last nigh by a Country mile was the Toulouse draw ensuring the group being won. That should now guarantee corporate/ players tickets returns for USG and a resale. Which is BADLY needed! I’ve never known so many regular lads be so short for a Euro away like this one with the P poor allocation. We currently have 2 out of 10. And everyone you speak to is in the same boat. 🤬

This football club man and football miracles ….. Season in, season out. NO club ….. NO ground, does ‘football miracles’ like Liverpool Football Club at Anfield!

7 Straight Wins.

Gotta’ admit, I NEVER saw that one coming. I always believed we’d score and nick a point. They’ve more than earned that trust and belief from us with their outstanding season to date. But at 2-2, and then when we went 3-2 down, the overriding emotion was frustration and annoyance. 😡 For as good as Fulham were, to be in that ridiculous position was ALL of our own making. What should have been a routine win in proper grim conditions (freezing cold and the driving rain was having players sliding all over), was anything but as L’pool toiled and laboured for much of the game. But they found a way for a massive win. A win that had Klopp’s previous vintage ‘Mentality Monsters’ stamped all over it. A win that showed spine and backbone in its defiance to not lose the points. A win that goes a long way toward winning a title. A win that had the manager fist pumping and Anfield as wild as shes been all season long.

Winning the league isn’t easy.

And for this group to dig that out, when they hadn’t played well at all ….. thats the biggest and most important part of there young journey yet. They all openly believe they can win this league. That was a statement to EVERYONE who dares doubt them in that belief.

I loved that we achieved that scoring 4 outstanding goals with none of them coming from our attackers. I loved the superb leadership and outright determination to get the win from Mo ….. First, banging the ball down on the centre spot and gesturing madly to the crowd to raise the noise level at 3-2 down as Fulham celebrated. Then doing the same again at 3-3 as Anfield went off like it hasn’t done in ages. Arms and limbs everywhere as outright, euphoric bedlam ensued. Culminating a minute later with lads toppling over seats in the exultant chaos.

A few player standouts:

Alexis Mac Allister-
His Worldie first goal for the club aside, he’s just getting better and better in the 6 role the more he plays back there for club and Country. His defensive awareness is improving by the game and the amount of tackles/ interceptions and closing off passing lanes he does is a joy to watch. Combine that with his ability to go the other way and be the perfect deep-lying playmaker, and I honestly don’t get why so many insist we need to buy a specialist 6 when we have a really special player burgeoning in the role. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I thought he was excellent at City. And he was the best midfielder by far again yesterday. Wonderfully graceful, super intelligent footballer.

Both Trent and big Virg are proving inspired choices for vice-captain and captain respectively. Proper leaders in every sense of the word and integral in the changies and on the park. Trent had his Gerrard moment yesterday stepping up to drag us home. Telling yer, he’ll be right up there with any Scouser thats ever represented this club when its all said and done. If not the single greatest Liverpudlian to don our colours. Pride in your own doesn’t even begin to cover it. 😊 And that awesome ‘shushing’ celebration ….. Yeah, thats aimed at every last one of you who EVER questioned just what a generational, phenomenal, World class talent he is.

Kostas. For not having me nark at him for the third straight game. Excellent display. Keep it up kid.

Endo for adding to the top class leadership and quality depth we have. And that finish man …..

And then to top the day off, we had City dropping points to, in my mind, put us top the league as I don’t consider Arsenal a threat over 38 games. They had the double whammy of sitting watching us thinking we were going to lose. Only to have that flip around in the most demoralising way with our late comeback win. And then having victory snatched from them as they continue to show they are FAR from impenetrable this season.

The only downer yesterday was the outstanding Matip being added to a growing injury list. ☹ And the Cup draw. Not worried about playing Arsenal at all. But having yet another London away to start next year off is a real pain in the backside!

Winning the league isn’t easy.

But as they demonstrated to the Nation yet again yesterday, we most definitely CAN win this league yanno’!

UTR! FTT!!!!!

I will hold my hands up and say I genuinely thought we would probably have to move Virgil on soonish after last season but by god he is back to his imperious best. The ******* commentator chatting bollocks about him biding his time to close down archer in the first half was hilarious. Had him on mute after that for the rest of the game. Emery doing us a big favour but hopefully they **** Arsenal on Saturday too.

**** just confirmed that Matip has ruptured his ACL. Probably the end of his Liverpool career and such a shame as he's looked back to his best this season too.

Get the bleep in Villa! What a superb midweek this has turned out to be! 🎉🎊🕺🕺🕺🎊🎉

I hate missing being there watching this superb gang of Reds live. Alas, my personal principles on Saudi owned clubs made that the case tonight. But, I must say, it does lead to an eye opening experience dipping in and out of SM/ on-line posts through a game. It really brings home the amount of folk today who just don’t understand what ‘proper’ football is all about and just what it takes to win leagues. And I don’t blame this generation in that at all. The ridiculous heights of City and L’pool over the past 5 years have completely skewed perception to people expecting brilliant, free flowing football and comfortable, 3/4 goal victories as a norm. But the actual reality of football has never been like that. You take what the game gives you on any given occasion. Such is the multitude of factors that define a game of football out of your control. And a baltic night in Sheffield, against a team with a hostile, whipped up crowd given an extra boost by a returning managerial hero, all after the emotionally draining comeback on Sunday, would be one of those occasions where you take what you’re given, battle through it, and find a way to take home all the points.

That was a really good, hard fought win from a proper game of football. The type of game that wins you titles. The type of game we were always the masters of in the majority of our title winning seasons. Proper games of football that are real battles but you do enough and battle harder to get the W. In the winter, performances don’t matter a jot. Points do! And we now have 4 more than the only team we need to finish above in my humble for #20. Which, at this stage, is a mammoth advantage at the top given theres next to nothing to separate ourselves and the cheats. As our previous, ridiculous title battles against each other are testament to.

Roll on Palace Sat’day and the next step on this wondrous journey with these lads. OUR lads that are fast showing the traits of every great L’pool side of the past to leave you counting down the days to the next game. Ironically, another game I’ll miss. (Darn Chrimbo does. 😡). But I’m looking forward to another win racked up on our assault at #20. And reading less of the narking at the unrealistic expectations of perfection at yet another super tough, hostile ground to have a mid-winter battle in. With more and more people no longer mocking the notion, and proper starting to get on board, that …..

’We can win this F league yanno!’

UTR! ’FTT!!!!!’

Did you see Jack Robinson one of our own (once our youngest player if i recall) telling the sheff utd fans to **** off with their chants by telling em he's a Scouser. **** them and their poverty chanting *****. Embarrassing behavior.

Arsenal can **** RIGHT off!!!!!

£53 and 40 for the upper and lower respectively. And 7,600 instead of the 9K we are entitled to on some spurious ‘Safety grounds’ claim! 🤬

SOS are already fuming. The club should stand up for us over this

Right after Crimbo too. **** taking Tory Cnuts!!!!! 😡
