Maybe Lpool should take a look at different kind of Mario. What about Mandzukic? Similar to Dzeko, just little more agile and aggressive?
 
Torres was so good against Vidic, Vidic was ******** bricks when he faced. Just check out the record of Torres against United till last season.

Also someone I like, with quite some ability and actually a viable target for 'Pool. He's been having a good season, and he's a decent creator too.

What Liverpool need is Roberto Soldado. Now before I get smashed about Valencia being in the CL and Liverpool not, I'd just like to say in his case he might be forced to leave given Valencia's finances.

Yes enough of the Liverpool v United, United are by far the better.. there is no debate!!

Personal opinion on individual palyers but we'll leave it..

@Vlad - Yes soldado would be a very good signing, but im not sure if he would come
 
If Soldado was forced to leave due to money, I'm pretty sure someone else would snap him up first. Forwards of his quality are in short supply.

I have one more Croat for you, tho he might be poor player for Lpool. Mladen Petric, clinical as ****. But hes slow and has poor work rate.

Don't see that happening. Too old. Got a great finish and a blistering shot, but I just don't see why Liverpool would want an old and slow 31 year old for a starting berth.

Even if he was forced to leave, I'm sure he'd have much better options out there than Liverpool.
 
Liverpool should have considered Papiss Cisse seriously. Look at the sort of form he is in right now. 10M looks a bargain already even though it's still early days.

Newcastle did well, but its easy saying that now, when he was at frieburg there was no real talk of him being a quality signing

I agree GC, but i dont think Lpool will have much choice. I cant remember anyone else right now who would be good target. Maybe Rondon? But i doubt he would leave Malaga.
 
Perhaps someone like Olivier Giroud, Luuk De Jong or Mario Mandzukic, or even someone like Rodrigo Palacio could fit the bill (although he is 30 now)
