Has anyone considered Ian Holloway as a candidate? He's rebuilt a team on a budget and still managed to compete, plays expansive, attacking football and has excellent man management skills. His PR and relationship with the press is a massive positive, and he would be able to divert the attention and pressure away from the players. Maybe he'd get more out of the players, particularly Charlie Adam who seemed a completely different player under his guidance.
I know a lot of Liverpool fans fancy a big name, but I realistically can't see it happening. AVB or De Boer would be a real coup.
