I'd rather go all football manager on this one and take that current deal plus a 30% of next transfer fee. He'll prob go on to be a success and we'll get more out of it in the long term. Never ever recoup what we paid for him tho.

i agree with you i think 12m would be good deal and i think dempsey was reported to be worth 6m so it would be 18m deal?

Personally think we should keep Carroll and still buy Dempsey for 6-8Million... gives us another option in attack!

id agree, although it depends what way Rodgers chooses, for example, Demsey, Bellamy, Suarez, Borini can all play as a striker so he may look at it that way... remember the front 3 will be very inter changeable anyway

Dempsey and Dembele and I'd hand over Carroll for sure. Dempsey and Carroll isn't a fair deal though.

infact, 9 million plus Dempsey for Carroll wouldn't be bad. Dempsey's valued at 9 million apparently, so 18 million overall for Carroll is good.
