Rodgers has made a big mistake today,

Allen been off form and 2nd choice to Hendo in recent weeks, yet he plays in the hardest game on the season instead on Jordan.

Henderson should be on, and Sturridge brought on sooner rather than later

Not going to happen but just using it as an example

Lucas - Gerrard
Sniejder
Sturridge - Suarez - Sterling

More people up front, Sniejder dropping in the hole supporting suarez, and Sturridge will also try to be in attacking areas

United just been smarter tactically so far
 
what do you expect guys this lfc side, is one of the worst ive seen. in terms of ability, character etc. man u just have better players on and of the bench. sure you argue sturiddge, but if we contain rvo somehow, then there's welback and then there's the small matter of hernandez. sigh.

United are a better side, but in one off matches we have shown we can match the big teams, outplayed most . One off matches that is.

Allen shoudn't be playing, we have 3 defensive CM's playing... two wingers more on the tracking full back job and then Luis Suarez isolated

No doubt player wise and squad depth they are better, but tactics could be better and it still being 1-0, we're still in it. Somehow
 
Why are you trying to make clinical striker from Suarez? Give him freedom to do what he wants, he's creative enough to make chances for other and for himself. You don't need Sneijder, you need a striker.

Difference between Allen and Gerrard is Allen misplaced many side passes. Gerrard atleast try some through balls.

Gerrard still misplaced lots of easy balls. Even gave one away near the edge of our box. Anyway, if anything it will probably be our best performing midfielder, Lucas, going off.

Not arguing about Gerrard having bad game. He is. Lucas is great, one of the best def midfielders in the league. I hope he gets second yellow :#
 
Lucas has been brilliant,

but please allow someone in the whole,

weather it be suarez with sturridge ahead of him or Gerrard, we need a change of tactics

no im just saying, that fergie has it drilled into them that they are better than us, and thier playing the game not the occasion. its simple tactics from fergie, press us high up the pitch, and when we lose the ball counter. were playing wayyy to deep. dont see anyway back, im just looking for damage limitation, need the spare of a 3 nil heartache.

And that is exactly why we should have given Sturridge his chance in the centre forward role ...
 
This second half line up i'd imagine will be similar come most the season now

Adding in Lucas..

Think it looks so much more positive and creates chances
 
Sturridge seems like a good investment. Hope he gets another goal. I really hate Man United :P
