Liverpool target Leipzig’s dynamo Keita to energise midfield - Goal.com

Never so much as heard of this lad, let alone seen him play, but he reads as the perfect back-up to Henderson.

Need to try catch some Lepzig games before the seasons done out of pure interest.
Been linked to every top club in Europe the last month or so. Especially Utd, Chelsea, Psg, And both Madrid clubs. And he's in no way a back up to Henderson, he's most probably the most sort after player close to Kante out there. Most probably more technical and better passing than Kante. If he signs for someone it will be as a starter. When you start watching mate you will see what I meen. One of the top prospects about CM atm with Kessie.

Dunno. You tried twice to tell us Pogba had a great second half Sunday when he was one of the worst players the pitch all game and the only way Utd got any hold in midfield late was through Carrick so I don't know if I can trust yer. :P.

Like the majority of Liverpool fans on the forum. Your point? Hate the "if you're not born and rared in the area of your club then... (insert nonsensical negative dig here)" ignorance that stinks in the game. Some lad in India could love Liverpool every bit as much and more than a fella 10 mins from Anfield who couldn't name 5 starters, but supports them because he's a local.

The people who have liked your post sum it up. Cheers

I can guarantee that I live closer to the Bridge and started going to the footie before you, and I liked his post, do I win this silly game of oneupmanship?

End of the day, these forums have always been about having at least semi sensible talks about the clubs we follow, and talking to fans of other clubs, not some sort of weird gatekeeping about who's a real fan and who isn't. People are going to have some light banter every now and again, football is all about rivalries after all. Now I don't find half the meme posts funny (unless they're mine of course) but they're not doing any harm and they're always kept in moderation. Saying people can't play around a little because they live in a different country from their club just seems...******.

i see what you did there but tbh he is only a back up for you cos you dont play with a out and out st and he would start for most teams but this kid could be a starter from the off

He'd be in the group/ mix? Sound better. By all accounts be sound for the way we view a DM. The Henderson/ Klopp's 6 role. And he'd be perfect for the Wijnaldum role. 3 interchangeable players on a very similar level which aids the extra games next season.

that does sound better might of got a head of my self saying he would be a starter so your plan does sound better

The only games other than LFC you should be watching Scouse is Centrebacks were linked with. We desperately need a left-sided partner in defence for Matip. Should be priority number one in the summer.

I thought your priority was a RB for that Clyne fella' you like to scapegoat mate? ;).

CB's are so hard to get, especially when your looking for proven quality/experience. Bonucci is the dream for any top PL club. But nearly impossible to get, that's the problem.

Yeah can't see Bonucci leaving. Even though it's rumoured City will offer 71m for him. Lots of top CBs about atm especially young ones.

Joking aside (or not as you're still well wrong on Clyne! :@), just a reliable centre half that isn't injured the majority of games would be nice. When you look at what Klopp's had to contend with the injury/ Sakho being a complete ******* record back there is beyond unfortunate. Just hasn't been able to bed down a consistent two together at all:

That's the key bit really. If you're willing to take a risk then there are plenty of CBs with loads of potential ready to take the step up. Problem is, for every Alderweireld there's a Mangala.

Lovren's fitness issues throws the centre back need slightly for me now this summer.

I would of been looking for just one to add to Matip, Gomez, and Lovren in the main 4 with Klaven filling out the back end depth. But is Lovren becoming a longer term concern if he's gonna' continue to miss so much? Do you then start looking for 2? I can't see Lovren being moved on at all but there is a growing fitness concern there.

Whomever gets added doesn't need to be anyone that stands directly in the way of the super talent we have in Gomez. And I think Klopp's acutely aware of that too from everything he's said on young Joe. He'll get his fair number of games next year. Love that only this yesterday he was humbly saying how great it was to be leading the 23's and just enjoying playing again and working back to full fitness.

Good recruitment by City's standards, I'll raise you a John Stones!

Stones will come good in my opinion, under the perfect coach he just needs to finish off his recruitment in the summer. Whats hurting him and city to an extent is that Kompany cannot get on the pitch because he is made glass
