Klopp's first signing, Marko Grujić starts for Serbia against Portugal on the hour the U-21 Euro's in a game filled with talent. (But no Renato Sanches starting surprisingly for Portugal.).

Quality talent that lad that everyone seems to have forgotten about. Like a new signing by given his injury-decimated first season at the club.

Yeah he's a huge talent. But his confidence has been destroyed. Could see it in his face and play watching him a few times at Bayern. Needs a good loan or to just leave.

Serbia didn't deserve to lose 2-0. But that's football. You don't always get what you deserve.

Mixed 67 minutes for Grujić. Silly early yellow card and a shockingly bad miss 5 yards out with a free header that should have made it 1-1 after he'd started the move with some good, driving attacking play from midfield. But overall he looked tidy and was very unlucky not to equalise, arriving late in the box which he has a real knack for, but a superb Portuguese tattle denied him.

Onto Macedonia Tuesday teatime.

God Lord he's more rapid than Mané!!!!!

How fast is Salah
?

A lot of overnight talk out of Egypt and Italy that the deal is as good as done and he'll be here for the formalities by Tuesday.

As much as I like Salah, and simply cannot believe Liverpool are the "only" club in for him, that video is so dumb. It's almost as bad as those Obertan videos we got many years ago. Ugh.

They've categorically ruled out selling Rudiger last week when the new DoF spoke. And with Naingollan close to a new deal, if he's not extended already. Salah's the only realistic one they'd push the sort of money they need to break even.

I think at this point, Liverpool should just hit the 45m Euro price they want

Apparently at £39.4M, so just shy of the £40m Roma originally wanted

Dont see why its took 3 weeks and saved 0.7m seems pointless. In football terms i dont get why lfc didnt just pay the 5m difference which was reported at one stage

That sounds pretty good in todays market.

It's a very reasonable price in the hyper inflated market, which makes the to and fro a complete waste of time, as Danny points out

You can't blame the guys for wanting to get a better deal. And its still off season, he'll probably join the rest of his teammates in like a week or two.

But Roma budged all of less than a million. Waste of time on an already good deal
