We should be demanding what ever they want if some club wants him desperately enough now. Forget the 'rumoured' £50 million price tag. It should be starting at a minimum £80/ 90 million.

We don't need to sell. Sadio's worth far more to us here next season and leaving on his own terms after that than taking a pittance of his true value now. And we know Sadio will give everything for us next season regardless s he always has. If you want him that bad Bayern that you can't wait another year to get him on a free, then pay up!

It really is that simple. We hold all the cards on this one and the club being totally relaxed on things would seemingly reaffirm that.

Yeah, can't overstate the importance of keeping around some old fart veterans in the squad who's been there a long time and won everything. Compare that with United's clueless approach when they've cleaned out all Fergie's faithful soldiers within 1-2 seasons.

Telling yer. That is still the overriding feeling you are left with. Both in the crush before the game (Which I'm convinced would have resulted in fatalities if it had been any other English club there. The level of self-policing and people keeping calm under ridiculously hostile and trying circumstances, down in large part to what we have experienced before at the hands of a Police force with absolutely no regard for your safety, was an enormous credit to all caught up in it), and then in the horrifically violent, orchestrated criminal assaults after, I've honestly never witnessed anywhere. And I've experienced pretty much everything, good and bad, that football has to offer over the years.

The more accounts you hear and read, the more you realise just how fortunate the trauma you experienced could have been far, FAR worse.

I've never encountered a more hostile reception from an opposition Police force/ the ferrel, orchestrated, criminal hordes. Nor have I felt more vulnerable, helpless, and scared absolutely shitless at a game in over three decades. In Paris. In 2022. At the biggest game of all.

Mercifully, this time, as horrible and heart wrenching as the lived accounts are, everything is documented and the lies UEFA and the French they are trying to smear innocent people with won't fly this time and heads will roll. There but for the grace of God we aren't talking about deaths. Many deaths.

Different egos and personalities. Not all are ready to stay in like this and probably on lower pay. Not many can put their glory days behind like this. Even though Milner has never been star, but always been man who team and manager can count on.

Biggest thing I think will come here is that Milner has interest in coaching and currently opportunity to learn from the best.

All the main journos that are linked to the club reporting on Nunez. Saw what I like of him against us but he seems a bit lukakuesque with his flat track bully approach. Either way if Klopp likes him its good enough for me.

Ala Ibou, men of that size ahouldn’t move that ****** fast! And he passed the 1-on-1 test with Alisson with flying colours. Few, if any, forwards ever do that.

That’s what I took from seeing him in the flesh those two games mate. Here endeth my knowledge on Darwin Nunez. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Your right there with the Lukakuesque. Not so much the flat track bully part as he will score goals against anyone given the service. But more in regards to his trampoline boots. His touch is pretty bad.

I'm hesitant to take Maddock's word but that would be a fantastically structured deal. £65 M. down and £18 M. or so in add-ons.

With so few top strikers available, and so many clubs in need, anything totalling around the £80 million mark is sadly/ madly the going market price right now for one.
