Frustrating thing is there's been numerous occasions now where City could've dropped points this season (as in the opposition have deserved something from it), but they keep stumbling over the line. They keep finding a ******* way. Not sure whether to say 'Fair play, that's what champs do' or cry.

Reminds me of us, in our peak, I think that's why it ******* hurts

On a side note, Sterling has scored winning goals that has left you 6 points better off this season (tonight, West Brom & Bournemouth) that's not looking into it too much, he may have even assisted other key goals too in other games.

Point is, he's a difference maker these days. Came on leaps & bounds under Pep

Pep says 'he is worried" about City players getting booked on Sunday. Sane, Fernandinho and Kompany one away from ban and missing @ManUtd game.

If only Pep didn't have a squad at his disposal where any loss of any player is neglitiable.

*Edit* Neglitiable? Is that even a word? Frigging iPhone correct is beyond mad. Negligible.

Its West Ham at home, just start Bernado Silva/Diaz/Zinkovic, Toure/Foden/Gundogan or Mangal/Danilo/Tosin instead, or move Delph, The depth is there, hes taking the ****

Stick Bravo in goal, put Ederson in for Fernandinho he's better with his feet than half the England midfield...

Now I know why people hate United.

These types of results on the way to titles are so painful

Its been that way for a few games now but they are still winning. The season is long but if you have this mixture of ability and good fortune, its hard to see another team catching up to them.

Crazy to think we could be actually 2 points behind City going into Sunday if it wasn't for teams bottling it recently. Imagine a scenario in which all United had to do was beat City on Sunday and to go top? Madness when you think of it like that.

Thing is, as Alc says, they keep finding a way to get the 3 points. Can't argue with it.

Ferguson's Utd? Nah, football fans (talking those that actually go the game and have done for years. Not the reactionary social media bellends that sit and pontificate from behind a screen chatting absolute ***** 99% of the tine), disliked him and his sides because he was an absolutely graceless winner. Which added to him being a terrible loser (not a bad trait from Utd's POV), made him utterly dislikeable. Anyone that disliked them for their success really wasn't worth the time of day.

Congratulations City. Best ever start to a season in the history of English top-flight football. Absolutely superb. 13 straight and no sign of it ending.

Testament to what we discussed a lot last season. The Plan A/ Plan B thing. A Guardiola side never changes it's style of play. Never panics. Keep's on doing what's served him so well and what he believes in. The number of late goals lately when they haven't been playing well just reinforces that.

You do realize they're going to Jose Mourinho turf on Sunday?

If ANYONE is going to stop the winning run, there's only one man :P Jose 'party pooper' Mourinho.

I'd say Sterling's 3 consecutive last minute winners was sign of it ending Scouse!

Take nothing away from City, they are grinding out the results which is all you can do.

I was thinking if West Ham did get a result against you today it wouldn't of been a must not lose for United in the derby.

Now I think United really can not lose and need the win pretty much. If we can win then a 5 point margin at this stage is nothing. Big if obviously. Even a draw isn't the end of anything yet.

Personally, I can't see City not winning the league. But we're still far from ruled out. You thought you had a chance of overturning Chelsea in the long haul when they were 6 points ahead around Xmas time last year too, so you can't fault Zz for having a similar mentality 12 months down the line, Scouse.
