UNITED EYE MENSAH

Vitoria midfielder Bernard Mensah has confirmed Manchester United have been in contact with his club regarding a transfer.

Mensah, 20, has impressed for the Portuguese side in his debut season, and admitted to Ghanaian press that the Old Trafford club were interested.

He is reported to have told Allsports in Ghana: "I have not spoken with anyone at Manchester United but I know that there are negotiations with my club."

Everyone raving about Eden Hazard but he's had just as good a season as a **** poor Bale. Its a matter of perspective really. If you dont listen to all the propoganda from the biased Spanish media and the Real Madrid fans (that have got to be the most horrible, fickle, glory hunting fans in the world), has Bale really had a bad season?

Think this may be league games only but:

Hazard - 35 games, 14 goals, 8 assists
Bale - 28 games, 13 goals, 8 assists

You just have to watch to see the difference in their performance. Di Maria is not the second best player in the league just because he has second most assists. He is not even in top 20 this season.

Yeah stats are never a great thing to go off.

Information about transfers? Woodward was asked if the squad was deep enough to challenge in Europe and what kind of number of players they were looking to add, the answer was that the squad will definitely be deep enough to challenge on all fronts but they would not go into details about any transfers obviously.

forecasting £600 million turnover next year if we did anything close that would put us above Madrid fairly comfortably I would imagine.

All of the press around here is reporting that United are looking into Kamil Glik, who currently plays CB and captains Torino. Might be just usual bullshit though.
