The Manchester United Thread

I think us playing better has to do with the presence of schniederlin....he automatically makes us look marginally better

Rooney could well of seen red there the end. That looked vindictive.

Unlucky not to win but the bottom line is another game without a goal and 8 without a win. A lot of positives to taken within that but the question would be is that enough to give you hope this would turn under him?

Schniederlin on, we look great defensively. Just need to work on finishing. Like I've said before

I don't envy the board if they have to make decision after this game.

Played best football of the season so far and the squad clearly showed up for Van Gaal, but at the end, its still another draw and no win for about 9 games now.

May of also helped that chelsea were yet again gutless and played for the point.

Best game for ages and get a point, deserved two nailed on pens as well.

They key about this is to play with that intensity EVERY SINGLE GAME.

If they do they won't go far wrong.

Rarely get annoyed about pens, but those decisions were bollocks

I don't see how that's a bad thing. If United can dominate relegation candidates like that, they're in for a great future.

oh deary me....

I didn't realise until now they even spelt 'United' wrong.

The gift that keeps on giving. XD.

No news yet? I guess he's staying after all. Although if he doesn't start winning soon, they'd have no choice but to pull the trigger.

Squad showing up for the manager probably changed the board's mind, at least temporarily. If LVG can still motivate the players, bringing in short-term motivator like Mourinho makes zero sense and should be only used as last resort. I'd imagine that's the reasoning.

and Guardiola is not yet off the table.

I think main problem with Pep is, he wants the job, but only if United can make to the CL.
I'm getting this out of my ***, so don't take it too seriously. But it could be the thing.

You forget Giggs does have form or have you forgotten his little affair with his brother's missus. A great player yes but debateable as a human being. He needs to go out and prove himself away from Utd before for he could be considered even a possible candidate in the future. Don't forget even Liverpool's famous Bootroom failed to keep them at the top in the end.

No i havent forgotten that. But jumping from that to claiming he is the source of the leaks is too much.

The obsession some people have about Giggs *** life is hilarious. Meanwhile, George Best probably impregnated half of Manchester in his day, and this is how class of 92 happened.

I don't think managers would care too much about that in truth.

Yup. Players do, but they have very short careers, so it makes sense.

Mangers though, probably don't give much of a ****. Pep is only 45, he still has 20 years of coaching in him. Wasting a year wouldn't bother him much. . If anything he might actually prefer having a first year no european games and more time to work with the squad.
