Yeah, Woodward did a brilliant job at running business side of things, but he's obviously just a marketing guy. His inability to lock down high profile targets, unless they actually want out in a first place (Mata/Di Maria/Bastian) is telling.

Was David Gil able to lock down high profile targets without the targets wanting out?

Don't forget the pulling power of Sir Alex Ferguson in the hot seat, David Moyes didn't have it and of course with Louis van Gaal you love him and want to play for him or hate him. For example Victor Valdes did put off Pedro joining United, Javier Hernandez, Rafael, Angel Di Maria, Nani, Danny Welbeck, Darren Fletcher, Tom Cleverley and Robin van Persie want out in the end. Victor Valdes still wants to leave. Miroslav Klose fell out with him at Bayern while he was there, plus there many more that have fallen out with him. So it's not just down to the board at United and Edward Woodward there other things in play as well. Also take it into a count if you were top player playing at another top club in Europe would you leave there to go to United at the moment?.

Van Gaal admitting defeat of any title hope (that's well and truly gone anyway) if we don't pick up a win tomorrow. I wonder when our board will realise that any hope of top 4 is gone, hopefully before it's too late. 5 points behind Spurs and if we lose tomorrow, depending on other results could be 10th by end of the day.

Team to play Swansea - DDG, Young, Jones, Smalling, Blind, Schweinstiger, Schneiderlin, Mata, Herrera, Rooney, Martial.

As far as I'm concerned, Martial is the only reason why I watch United games recently.

This is so painful to watch, hopefully Van Gaal is fired before the game ends.

Atrocious performance.

I'm reaching the point where I have to force myself to watch this team.

Haha, Jones got injured. Holy ****, how? I mean, poor guy haven't even seen the ****** ball in the first half.

I'm honestly at the point where I genuinely don't want us to win because yet again we've been dire, in the long run we're not going to get anywhere by playing like this even if we get a flukey result today.

It's so nice to have Martial in the team. ******* brilliant player.
