Why do you reckon two such extremely successful managers in both Mourinho and LVG seemed so clueless last season?
Stubbornness I'd say

Yes but as you yourself said if these moved were 'impossible' in the first place regardless of high you bid, why waste time over them? To leak it to the press and potray Woody as the biggest mover and shaker in football
Also Woody appointed LVG and Moyes so he takes blame for their failures as well
What do you mean club lost nothing? They directed time, attention and resources towards signing a player who was clearly leading them on. As you yourself said, well played for player and agent and embarassing for woody.
Also I never said United never bid for Neymar. They probably have done sometime in the past. Just that they used that as an excuse to cover up Woody's trip to Barcelona once Chelsea hijacked Pedro from under his nose
Amoyal saying they already lining up replacements in Naingolan and Kante. But PSG faves for Kante.
I would not mind in a 3 tbh. Then let Schniederlin do what we wanted him to do and play BTB like at Southampton. Matic beating it in front of the back 4 then Rooney or Gomez creating and getting forward. Plus those 2 would allow the front 3 to just play where they want roaming interchanging. Why do we even need Matic, with a midfield of him and Schneiderlin/Carrick we'll never get out of our own half.
Nainggolan wants to stay At Roma. Roma need to sell a player for FFP reasonsAmoyal saying they already lining up replacements in Naingolan and Kante. But PSG faves for Kante.

I certainly cannot remember Gill boasting about United's prowess in the transfer market in such a in-your-face manner that Woodward has been doing the past few seasons. Also another thing that helped Gill is that United actually won trophies regularly under his reign which backed up these supposed comments about transfer war chest that you claimed he was making. Also Mike stated himself that Woody talks big which made most fans eventually dillusioned when things were not reproduced on the pitch and I just added onto that so not sure where you get this idea that I have a problem with Woodward ...
Di Maria never even wanted to be here, Falcao is a retired pensioner posing as footballer, and jury's out on Bastian. Some high profile signings mate.
But they were not the kind of quality players both Moyes and LVG were promised. As usual butthurt causes your reading comprehension to go below zero.
Correct. He talked big, spent big...and signed small. Great success.
Van Gaal has spend last 2 years talking about how the team lacks fast creative player, and how United desperately need one. And guess what. You still don't have one. Moyes got zero backing in the market all together. But evidently you know better what players manager wanted, than the managers themselves.
What The **** are you even talking about. It's literally Woodward's job to run the business side of things and make deals happen. That's not manager's responsibility. Managers identify the targets, they go to Woodward, he spends summer after summer embarrassing himself launching failed bids. Both Moyes and LVG were left in the dust without the players they were promised, and somehow they're to blame? Are you off your meds again?
It's a pubiically traded company, manager can't just go around saying "we have no money for transfers, we're ******". But sure, they always had the money, totally. Bringing Scholes out of retirement was also due to "lack of value on the market", because Fergie just didn't see a point of using his multi-million, always available warchest, on someone who will actually have legs.
Sweet mother of Christ, you're as thick as elephant's foreskin.
Gill actually did. He always said united had the resources to compete financially for top players if i do recall
Di Marzio saying its 32m euros 18m ish up font the rest in bonus instalments. Yes he is worth that much.Guys, anybody here who follows the BBVA regularly and has any clue (apart from the mirror articles) if this Bailly guy does worth the 32 million?
Given Jose's success with centre backs, yes, very much soGuys, anybody here who follows the BBVA regularly and has any clue (apart from the mirror articles) if this Bailly guy does worth the 32 million?

Only 147 PA in FM2016 though. Clearly overpriced.
Yeah, we definitely should go and get Vallejo for peanuts.![]()
