The Manchester United Thread

I expect we are, but we are a long way off from it happening. It's barely news right now
Its not a bad thing by any means but its been quite on the winger front. Apart from talk of Aulas and Lozano, who tbf look like great talents. Think there could be something in the Aulas talk.

We've got lots of wide talent. What we need is a hard working heavy hitter on the right if it won't be mata. Shame he can't be tempted but I would love Willian

On the side note, the new TV deal is kind of fun in FM.

I'm I'm my 3rd season with Spurs right now, up to my ears in cash, but I still can't buy top quality targets because of club low reputation, even though I took them to CL twice in row.

So I'm currently sitting on 60 million unspent transfer budget, and I'm focused on developing youngsters instead. I can't buy anybody I want, and people that I can buy aren't better than what I already have.

Fun.

I mace the stupidly crazy mistake of staying up to the wee hours Saturday morning to watch Brazil's opening Copa match in America. A terribly boring 0-0 draw with Ecuador they should of lost. Brazil are getting worse by the year. Little to no Samba flair replaced by European style rigidity. Take out Neymar and there's nothing up front. They're rapidly becoming a team you don't care for after being everyones second Nation in tournaments for as long as I can remember.

Anyway, the point of mentioning that, aside from the fact I'm bored, was Coutinho and Willian were the only Brazilians even remotely trying to create and go forward. Which is one thing that stuck out to me last year at Chelsea. Whilst most every player down there was an absolute disgrace the vast majority of the year, Willian always appeared to be the one actually trying every game.

I don't think I'll be making the same mistake with Brazil's second game early tomorrow in the AM.

Yep, he has fantastic work ethic, and is very skilful to boot. You know he will be disciplined to balance the other flank, which would be super attacking in martial and shaw, but good enough to be a big threat in his own right. We should go for it

brazil are so dull to watch, horrible horrible set up

Brazil have lots of problems but the top 3 imo

1, Dunga is a terrible coach, absolutely *****, some of his squad selections are absolutely baffling

2, lack a ball playing midfielder or a quarterback whatever you want to call it, it looked as if Lucas Lima was going to finally step up in that role but last few times I have seen him not really been all that impressed

3, they don't have a number 9, this killing them because teams just need to stop Neymar the way they stand and you are set.

Until there is massive reform in the league structure in Brazil and the way they view developing talent we will never see the Brazil of old which is such a shame

Does whomever the current Coach of Brazil is at whatever particular time actually have full autonomy over selections or do Nike?

That's been a continuing bone of contention ever since the most ridiculous farce I think I've ever seen with Ronaldo before the '98 WC Final. I'd LOVE to know what actually went down those few hours prior to kick-off but there's NO way he should of played that game.

His name is Adam Ounas, Aulas is the Lyon chairman. Would be quite entertaining to watch a 67 year old running down the right flank though :P

Well there is nothing public and I think Dunga would probably refute it anyway but I Imagine they hold certain sway over some players. Its sad that Brazil has come to this, I love the country like its my second home, but its sold its soul to chase the dollar, **** literally Centenary of the Copa America I know lets hold it in the USA SMH

Lol...I recognize that calendar schedule from footie manager

I'm more bothered by the fact that the club found it necessary to put posting on Instagram in his contract.

What a time to be alive.

We will always have to pay the EPL tax, all other clubs know the kind of money big EPL clubs and now all EPL clubs are raking in

Just been reading the paper talk for tomorrow and it says Darmian isn't in mourinho's plans and juventus are interested

But saying that it also says litchsteiner could leave juventus coz they are signing dani alves. So not sure why they would want darmian

IMO Januzaj has a chance to make that spot his own. In 2014, Jose singled him out to praise him when we played Chelsea at Stamford bridge. Wouldn't be surprised if Jose liked what he saw and gives him chances, after all Januzaj was the only one who came out looking decent in that game.

Your crush on Januzaj is cute. He has as big of a chance to be a starter this season, as I have at being elected the next pope. Those are the odds of Mourinho plugging the biggest hole in the squad with inconsistent youngster who had had couple of good games 3 years ago, and who's been ***** ever since.

I wonder how many more years have to pass until you stop deluding yourself and accept that Januzaj isn't in fact a new Messi in the making. 3 years is a lot of time, time to let it go.

No what is cute is, one fine morning you decide to just follow the club for a year and pretend to know everything.

Every player bar 3-4 were **** playing for Van Gaal. If anyone judge player's performance then except De Gea, Smalling, Martial, Blind everyone should be sold.

There are many players who had a rough start and went on to have a good career. He didn't have couple of good games, he had plenty in the first half of the season and then Van Gaal stopped playing him which followed by **** loan spell.

He is just 21 years old and anyone who writes off talented player at such young age should have word with themselves. I don't rate Januzaj just because he did well half a season, I have seen plenty of his games playing for u21 and dominating them.

Thank god Spurs fans and coaches weren't so kneejerk with Kane.

Btw no one aid he is Messi level talent but good enough talent to play for ManUtd. Some problem with this FM generation, either player should be messi level or ****, no middle ground.
