Very happy with this signing. His rise over the last few seasons has been immense! Was a key player in them winning the AFCON last year. He is quick, strong, good in the air and very athletic. Also comfortable with the ball on both feet and playing at either FB. But he has defo signed to be a CB.

Valencia? God, I hope not. But I reckon we do need to sign another defender, if we are letting go of Jones. Atm, as manumad said, defence is still a bit inexperienced..

25 Million rising to 31 Million. That includes performance related bonus. With new TV deal, these kind of fee would be very normal.
 
Also fantastic that we completed the deal so early. Don't have a clue on how good he is but have to trust Jose's defensive signings. Most of them are spot on and also he had few months to scout the players needed.

Like said should be fastest defense in the league.

Bailly is just year older than Romangoli. Not sure about highly rated he is though, looks physically strong player.

It's 25 Million pounds and with performance related bonus it's 30 or 31 Million pounds.

Yeah I know the ages lol (only because I looked Bailly up tbf!)

Looked at his numbers, looks generally pretty good over all defensive wise, though his aerial duels is in the low 50% mark according to that squarka thing. (not an indicator of a great deal I know)

Be good to see him first hand and make a proper judgement :)
