Yeah I think Cole was injured or coming back from injury. Think he may go out on loan this season.
 
Can't believe Bebe is in the pre-season squad, hopefully he plays immense so a club can take him off us!

But he isn't on the pre-season tour squad so he isn't going to be match fit, and it'll take him more games then normal to get back to fitness since it's been 8months since his last game.

Just read something like this on SSN saying vidic and smalling will both be fit for start of season but jonny evans will miss first couple of weeks after surgery. sean mcginty to go out on loan.

Was about to post this. Really excited to see how he does as a LB. He played very few games as FB, but he is a proper winger. As we are really short on LB side, he has a good chance of making it in that position if he can adapt to that role. He is talented for sure. Also we have Blackett, going by SAF interview he may get chance this season. If we are trying to integrate Brady as LB then mostly Baines deal is off.

Looks like Brady will be developed as LB for the whole season not just preseason.


"Young Robbie Brady will be at left-back. He's actually an outside-left but we believe there's the possibility he'll develop into a left-back. He was on loan last year at Hull City and did very well. He'll certainly figure at left-back. I don't know how many substitutes will be allowed - we need to establish that - but I'm sure we can be flexible. It's important the young players get a chance to play on such a big occasion.


"Left-back is an area which we're paying attention to. Patrice, in the last five years has played an average of 45-50 games. It's phenomenal. I don't know if anybody else has achieved that. He's still a fit lad and has the same drive and ambition. He's a fighter.


"Fabio went to QPR, which was so important for the boy because he has enormous ability, but he needs to play. Because Evra, touch wood, is never injured, the opportunities haven't been there for the boy. He played a few games last season but it's not enough for a young boy of 21 years. He needed to continue with his progress. With Fabio at QPR for a year, we're just a little short in that department.


"That's why we're trying Robbie Brady at left-back. We also have Tyler Blackett here - he's a big, strong boy, tall and quick going forward. But he's only just turned 18. He has time on his side but he's here for the experience and he may yet surprise us."

Watched brady play LB couple of times for reserves after loan last season was not bad but will need to improve possitional sense but is young enough could be interesting, blackett i believe will be quality LB watched him for last 2 seas have been very impressed.

Blackett is a nutcase though, should improve his temperament. Seen him doing some idiotic things on the field but he is very young. So he will improve on that. Also physically he is a beast.

Also re Brady, he can adapt to the role, but needs game time at least at reserves level as LB. Also Cleverley started his career as LB and played many games as LB for reserves. Then he was moved to CM for reserves where he started scoring important goals, that is when he started to build his career as CM.

No, none. Now that we have already left for preseason tour won't be surprised if we don't sign anyone :(

My mate at work said he read something on us not going for baines coz everton wont budge on 15m price and lucas moura discussion still ongoing but still developing, still think we will sign 1-2 more players plus fergie said we will be bringing in at least 1 more in numerous interviews its still only mid july.

Lol, this is too far. 38Million for someone who has not played anywhere except Brazilian league? Hope this is just a rumor.

Dont no what is 38m euros is in pounds but read united only want to pay between 27-30 english pounds. dont think we will sign LB now if brady and blackett impress on tour.
