Periera has looked really good these first 2 games. Great work rate, always available and quick and incisive passing forwards.

Maybe Jose has realised from last season than you can't expect to win a game anymore by sitting back, so he has gone all Pep on us.

*Yes I'm dreaming, Matic will be there instead of Pereira, despite the comments I can't for the life of me see him trusting Pereira in no.6 position when big games come long. Hope I'm wrong though...

He's playing on the left of the 3 Central mids now in the game and probably our best player on the pitch so far.
 
Quite boring first 45 mins. Pereira and Alexis our most creative players. Martial quite invisibe, would like to see him and Alexis maybe switch for 2nd half!
 
What a **** first half. Hope 2nd will be better. Have to wake up in like 5h.
 
Meh whatever. Pre season is pre season! Sanchez, Periera stand out players. Shaw been good least he offers something going forward just can’t cross. Chong decent can tell he’s not quite physically ready yet. Herrera doing a good job coaching Garner through the half. Bailly looks sharper this game.


In transfer news looks like there’s been a briefing. Last 20/30 mins Guardian, Times, Telegraph, Mirror, Sun plus various journalists from there own accounts all saying Maguire is the top CB target we are in talks with.

Martial's position seems to be questionable still, according to Sky Sports asked Mourinho to leave (even though I'm sure that was early in summer). But still.. what has happened... we just said no I assume.

Maybe United want a replacement first, we'll see. Most likely he'll stay tho?
 
Magnus Eriksson coming on for San Jose now, Swedish player. He's quite experienced and has some nice creativity/flair. Could cause trouble!
 
Dunno if Martial's been tired this game or something because his movement is non existent and he doesn't chase/challenge any 50/50 balls..

Been better the last 10-15 A’s has the whole team since we had that scare. Sanchez off for Greenwood :) Sánchez looked good.

I'm not cynical about it at all, just realistic. It's like dealing with HR ladies - they're usually nice, but don't get carried away and comment about their ****.
