Guys, honestly, don't bother with the Cardiff debacle.... yeah he had a bad spell there but the squad was gash and it was poisoned chalice at that time. Cardiff fans will say different obviously of course, they were relegated after all.
But anyway who is looking at it from the angle of 'we hired him because he's a top manager' is looking at it wrong anyway. He has been brought in to improve relationship between players and fans, nothing more, nothing less.
Oh and one more thing, Southgate done terrible at Middlesborough and admitted it was too early in his managerial career. Then he went on to do great things with England.
It's exactly the same with Solskjaer, he took that Cardiff job too soon, be the first to admit that. He went to Molde and won them 2 league titles first time in 100 years they have ever done that. Yes it's Norweigan League but still impressive. Oh and he plays attacking football and is loved there. Hence why it is being celebrated like a national triumph in Norway.
Not to mention in Europa League he won a group with Molde consisting of Ajaz, Fenerbahce and another team I think (can't remember who it was now).
