I’m sure the same old **** gets rolled out about Young and who he will be facing. Despite having good games against Hazard and Salah this season and last. Bit tiresome tbh. Yes he gets caught out but usually not defending 1v1

Yeah. He gets done by overloads and one twos. But he's usually pretty good one on one Salah was supposed to have murdered him last time they met. Not saying he's class or should be first choice. But lets not overdo it

The Glazers must love some of our fans, still defending Young this season ****** ****.... pockets Salah so well that he lets Mane run off and score. Great.

I believe that a team's foundation starts at the back. One single mistake from a defender can define a result, no matter how great the team plays. Without trustworthing defenders, there's no way to build a competitive team.

Guardiola's reign at England only begun when he bought Ederson, Walker, Mendy and Danilo in a single transfer window.

The difference between last season Liverpool and this current team with Van Dijk and Alisson is brutal.

Mourinho and Van Gaal never got the defenders they wanted. Both of them sacrificed a more attacking style in order to ensure defensive safety.

Let's hope Ole gets his players. And not only CB's: FB is one of the most demanding positions in football. To count only with Shaw, Dalot and Young for an entire season is madness.

Mane was on the other side of the pitch and not his problem

Some of us prefer to use our heads than rather than angrily ********** into a keyboard like yourselves. Again no one said he should be first choice,we just dn't moan every single game needlessly like yourself an exagerrate everything. Not sure what its go to with the Glazers either. A bizarrely idiotic point for you to make.

Dalot was absolutely ***** in his last few games defensively, he's considerably worse than Young on that front. You moaned when Jones was there too. He has to play someone ffs

Guardiola had complete control of the midfield before that. Only Ederson and Walker were lynch pins. Mendy has been injured for big chunks and Danilo was a failure

The only CM Guardiola bought was Gundogan. Fernandinho, David Silva and KDB were already at the club.

The point is that this signings allowed Guardiola to get rid of players he didn't trust and couldn't get the job done (Bravo, Clichy and Zabaleta). The goofy defensive mistakes of the first season ended.

Alisson. And a team thats evolved both its style and is another year on in its development and experience from last year to take the next step to a whole other level. Along with better quality depth. But Alisson’s the major difference to the goals against record.

Goalkeeper was always the problem. Not the defending. van Dijk was a part of the run to last years final.

Utd already have the top class goalie.

Apzilucueta is a ******* pest...****. he's a brilliant full back but lukaku finally putting his physicality to actually use.

Yeah, GK is not a ploblem for us. The point is that to have a solid defensive line is the first step to build a competitive team.

Pogba is such a frustrating player. When he's in the mood, he can be absolutely brilliant.

He's been fouled like 14 times so far.

Summer can’t come soon enough for DDG. His heads just gone. On another note Lukaku and especially Mata have been excellent.

At this point, I'd say we bench DDG for Romero. Like, seriously. His form has been Absymal.

Every single ****** game we do the same old ****, start off well and put them under pressure. then sink deeper and deeper, their goal was coming regardless of the De Gea mistake which was yet another howler.

Wat have we actually created apart from the goal again... nothing. You've got to create more than this and at least test the other keeper.
