Anyone know anything about Facundo Pallistri who we are signing? My knowledge he’s Uruguayan and plays RW ??‍♂️

Laurie Whitwell on Cavani wages

  • Cavani wanted 9 million Euros per year (8.15 million Pounds)
    • ~173k Euros per week
  • His United wages will fit within the existing structure and be absolutely nowhere near Sanchez's

Sure, he's wonderkid on FM and has the same agent as Cavani.

Also obligatory YT video with ****** music:
Just spoke to a lad on redcafe said he’s watched him about 6 times. Pretty quick, good decision making, and very direct with his dribbling. His influence this season on Penerol has been good. Thinks will need a loan or will go into the u23s for a little.

Well next season will be interesting for our wide options with Rashford, James, Lingard, Chong, Stefanovic plus this lad. Then who ever the RW is who comes in the next 2 days.

Cavani deal won’t have an impact on any other potential deals being worked on in the last couple of days of the window.
Just when I gave Man Utd credit to turning a corner, they pull this. No doubt Cavani will score some point saving goals, but not what I expected from a potential top 4 club.

It's really revisionist now I know but how good has James been for Everton? Every one of us in here said no thank you, and rightly so given his history. But what a player and we'd be killing for him now. TBH I think it's more down to Ancelotti actually getting the best out of his players like he has done everywhere he has gone, even calvert-lewin looks good.

So where does the blame lie? I know we have been linked with every player in the world over the years but we have been signing James for 2 years and we was signing Allan for a few years and got Fred. Both go to Everton and are WC. Never had a doubt about Allan. Top player. And I've said we should sign doucoure for years. Would ole get the same out of them players? At what point do we stop moaning about recruitment and blame the staff for not getting the best out of what they have?

Guarantee OGS wouldn't make James look this good tbh. I've never rated DCL and I always thought he was a pub player but Ancelotti makes him look like peak Lewandowski.

Nah I remember telling people to not judge DCL to early. The kid done everything right apart from score, works his absolute socks off. Now he is getting his rewards.

#mufc have got Edinson Cavani on a 'very good deal' wages wise. Solskjær is excited about the prospect of having him in his squad #mulive [@DeanJonesBR]
On a very good deal in terms of utd but not when you look at it from the outside. I like how they included Sanchez as the bench mark when this is a club that pays Luke Shaw and Phil Jones a fortune, and has three gks on 100k plus. He is still on enormous wages and not even you could pull a positive spin on this one. Panic buy of the highest level.

Come on mate stop talking nonsense now. Phil Jones is on about 70k a week as is Romero so we we don’t have 3gks on 100k so don’t go over board trying force a point. And Shaws on 130k a week which for a starting LB at one of the biggest clubs and and England international it’s hardly an absolute fortune. Come on mate your better than that on here.

We don’t know what deal Cavani will cost. His agent wanted 10m euros and we have given him less. And most reliable people round Utd are saying Cavani will be on around 175k pw or less. Yet some people want to make up figures to make them feel better about not wanting the player, or saying we have a back up str on more than our first choice str which is completely rubbish when Martial is on 250k pw even Rashford is on 200k pw so more than Cavani.

Was he Ole first choice STR option to be back up to Martial NO. Was he one of Ole option to be a short term stop gap to give us cover in Jan when Ighalo leaves YES if you wanna believe Utds closest journos.

He wouldn’t of been my choice far from it but if his wages are to be believed then I can see it for what it is. Now it’s done it’s up to him to deliver when he plays and get the backing of the fans.
