The Manchester United Thread

Impressive 3-0 for the women. Top of the league by 7 points but Chelsea have 3 games in hand. But Utd have an absolute massive GD.

Us beating Spurs and City losing to Liverpool today means that they are six points behind us with two games left for both teams. The first one against each other. But our goal difference being +42 and theirs +25 it is safe to say we've reached the UWCL for the first time in our history!

Table right now:

United 20 +42 50
Man City 20 +25 44
Chelsea 17 +29 43
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Arsenal 18 +30 41

Limpdick performance all around, if they started the game with intensity of last 10 minutes it would have been easy 3 points.

If we could score goals from the chances we create we would avoid most these defeats. We are so wasteful from very good chances.

Think your home form will save you. We still need to win out to even stand a chance. Lucky for you lot we've run out of games, otherwise it would've been a wrap.

ETH would have to take partial responsibility for the dip in form for the past couple months.

There’s a reason why the bigger teams rotate heavily in national cup competitions and ETH picked relatively strong teams each time. Our run to the carabao cup final was easy for that reason alone. A combination of fatigue and injuries has pretty much come back to bite us in the ***. We’re basically limping to the finish line at this point, relying heavily on our home form to get us across the finish line.

Also, these talks of DDG’s extension should die quickly. He’s already rejected 200k a week and I’m not even sure why we’re offering him that much. Best solution is to silently let him run down his contract. He’s made as many mistake as Lloris in the league this season. If Ten Hag is the one pushing for the extension then he deserves what comes next.
