The Manchester United Thread

For me its simple: pick a 4231 (even with Ander and Pogba as the two and Mata in, erm, the Rooney position lol) and well get overrun and LFC's pressing will destroy us. Pick a 433 (which in defence is really a 451 as we all know) with Ander, Pogba and, say, Carrick (tho Id prefer Morgan) and we' ll come on top.

Ive said it before, Im praying to god and he doesn't even exist (and, Scouse mate NO he's not a big nosed Scouser who used to play for the most hateful thing in world football! Just no).

Everybody says that. However Ive been maintaining since last season that Blind at cb is the weak link of the two. Thankfully it only took 4 matches approx for Mourinho to realise this!

I don't know man, I rate Blind very highly but at the same time always know he isn't a CB so will have his flaws. Outstanding utility player though and can do a job there greatly more often than not.

I'm as confident as the next guy about going there and surprising them/upsetting them.... but these bold specific statements are just opening yourself to a world of pain :D I commend your bravery, but I aint joining that ship haha... But I do think we can surprise them, and give their defence a lot more to do than many Liverpool fans think we will (due to many of them thinking it's going to be only them on the front foot). But to say any of our defense will shut up Coutinho or Firmino is a massive call... or did you mean just hit them hard like he's done to practically every forward he's came up against this season?

I just REALLY hope he doesn't throw in Fellaini to a 3 man midfield, something tell's me he could feature.

Mourinho new master plan. Fellaini and Zlatan up top in a 442 lump balls up to the big men beat the press, then have flying wingers getting on the knock downs:)
 
Yers all have very simplistic ideas of how to 'beat the press.'

I hope the managers the same.
