The Manchester United Thread

Not sure I see Zlatan heading to MLS NYCFC and Galaxy all have their allotment of DP's and Red Bulls have moved away from the big stars. Just leaves LAFC and they are strongly linked to a few players and will likely want a third DP before the season to help get people watching early. Other than them not sure any city would appeal greatly to him

Jose Mourinho has said claims he may quit @ManUtd in the summer are 'garbage'.

Mourinho: "The worst thing someone can do is put one inch of doubt into my professionalism. I see myself here (after 3 years)

Jose also addressed question of him being "unhappy". "Because I don't behave as a clown on the touchline? It means I lost my passion? I prefer to do the way I do it, much more mature, better for my team and myself, you don't have to behave like a crazy guy on the touchline."

Mourinho, "If you ask me if I see myself at Manchester United next season? Then yes I do."

Mourinho, "I want to stay, I have no intention to leave. I am in the middle of my contract. My desire is to stay the board are happy with my work."

Jose: “From the injured players, Marouane Fellaini is back. Antonio Valencia will be back to the team next week, so not playing tomorrow.“Michael Carrick is back to training, not to competition, but is back to training with the team.”

Mourinho, "I'm going to play with a good team against Derby County, then the result is out of your control. I will play this like a PL game."

Mourinho, "I will play Romero because he is a top top keeper, he will be Argentina's goalkeeper in a few months."

Mourinho on Lukaku, "Romelu is okay."

From the Derby presser. Happy about the news on his future! :)

Great presser from Mou. Was on top and at his best. Looks like we will have an all but fit squad after the Cup game.

James Ducker- Luke Shaw's form on and off the pitch has changed United's plans over a possible left-back signing #mufc

Fanfuckingtastic :P

CBJ returning from another disappointment out on loan. Can see him going in the Summer. Shame showed promise but wasted nearly 2yrs of development. And we have Shaw and Young for the LB spot. Riley and Mitchell from the u23s are better. And Danny Williams and Laird are better in the u18s. Especially Laird he’s 16 and close to the level of Mitchell if not better already. Great talent!

CBJ is strange, hoped more of him and thought he deserved more playing time. Something must be going on behind the closed door for him not getting any change in the team or bench.

Be gone in the Summer I reckon. Not long left on his contract.

Yeah.
He's another lad I thought would have developed into a decent player for the club.

Probably it's just Van Gaal's coaching made them look better than they really were. What are biggest flaws that a young player has? Tactics and decision making, right? Well here comes LVG and drills them until they bleed, planning every step and every scenario until reactions are automatic. It's helped a lot of youngster and Smalling too, but when they had to play in another system they were lost again.

Someone needs to teach Rashford to finish. And pass. He and Miki fighting it out for the worst passer so far.

How on Earth have United not scored 5 goals, let alone 1. This is hilarious to watch XD

This is why Martial will always be better than Rashord. He simply makes a better decisions. 2-0, big Rom.
