The Manchester United Thread

Thought Fred was good yesterday. Not standout but good all round performance. Won more tackles and made more interceptions than anyone and had second most attempts on forward passes than anyone

Just seen Utd women are 2-0 up after 10 mins against second place Spurs who are a point behind. Lauren James and Sigsworth with the goals.

Sigsworth makes it 3-0 before HT :)

finished 4-1 in a totally dominant performance. Still unbeaten.

First of all, I wouldnt wear anything that represents any army in the world, let alone US or UK army. I think he feels the same.

Remembrance poppy is an anti-war symbol, mate. It was originally born to commemorate the poor souls who were conscripted against their will and forced to run like headless chickens around the fields of Verdun straight into machine gun fire.

Although I agree that pressuring people to wear political symbols is just silly. If he doesn't want to wear it that's his business.

I just think there's irony attached being forced to wear a poppy to remember people who were forced to go to war. Not the place for this type of chat, but I'm a believer in freedom of choice

Think what you want. This is a football forum and Ill leave it here. Feel free to PM me if you want.

Onto the more important things. Its unbelivable how United only starts to play football when they're losing. Its like they need to start every game with ****** handicap. Club really lack serious leader.

Relax V. I think we'll all agreeing with you. Wear it, wear it but upside down, don't wear it at all, that's your decision to make.

True, look at the kerfuffle over McClean at the Boro game. Valid reasons for not wearing one, and the club have taken the common sense stance.

Spurs are top of the league. We are 2 points behind still but with a game in hand according to our website.

I wouldn't wear one either, even though I like the symbol. It's just that Remembrance Day also happens to be Independence Day in Poland. I wouldn't be surprised is Poles in the Premier League only wear it to avoid being the odd one out.

U19 v Juve now

Kovar, Tanner, Ercolani, O'Connor, B.Williams, Barlow, Gomes, Traore, Chong, Mellor, Greenwood

Fojticek, Levitt, McGhee, Puigmal, Ramazani, Galbraith, Baars

Obviously a few injuries in the camp, no Garner, Laird, Bernard, Mengi or Bejger

Juve 1-0 after peno

Utd and Greenwood looks like to have a goal wrongfully ruled offside.

1-1 great work by Chong to force an own goal.

Finished 2-2. Utd remains top of the group

Absolute bollocks this!!!!

The FA has confirmed it will appeal the Independent Regulatory Commission's decision to throw out the case against José Mourinho for using insulting, abusive or improper language after the Newcastle game. Brings back the possibility that Mourinho could receive a touchline ban

Lmao. People laugh when Jose says there's a witch hunt for him and the FA hate him, but hard to argue that when they go out of their way to go to these lengths.

With all the cards the ref is handing out in the young boys vs Valencia game it could be straight forward wins for united and juve in the next match day against reserve teams

Juve aint nothing special. If only United players could play a bit faster, 2-touch football, that would be amazing. You can tell United lacks a striker.

Lindelof is shaping into the CB we signed on a positive note. Good season from him

Thats what a world class striker looks like. Onto the next one
