It is but that’s more the norm the top end as it’s levelled out.
Lot of top quality to be had £30/40/50 million or so. Even less if your evaluation is right to get exactly the right player that fits everything you do/ require.
The next bracket of £60/70/80/90 million is your top end.
How many £100 plus million transfers has there been? 2/3? And 2 of those were to a club not playing within FFP rules and backed by a whole state.
You’ll still get clubs that will go super nuts for exceptional talents. Not least attackers. But its just not viable, or indeed workable under FFP for that to become the norm.
