Sir Jim Ratcliffe on the price of #mufc:

“How do you decide the price of a painting? How do you decide the price of a house? It’s not related to how much it cost to build or how much it cost to paint, what you don’t want to do is pay stupid prices for things because then you regret it subsequently.” [@TelegraphDucker]
no he want to get it on the cheap and do nothing with it

He has the ability and shows flashes every now and then but, the mental aspect is lacking.
Yep and he’s made of balsa lol. But he is a good player no doubt. 6 gl involvements in his 9 appearances this season. Could have made the difference on some of our tight matches where we missed some good chances. Unfortunately you just can’t rely on him. But hopefully can do us a job till the end of the season then look to move him on.

He’s 27 years old, not 21. He’s supposed to be in his prime. This “flashes” talk should only be meant for players below 24.

Only people that rate him at this point are united fans. He’s average

It's a mentality thing with him though, you can have all the skill in the world, yet without the mental ability you are just average. Like you say he is now 27 and should be in his prime but he hasn't moved on from the maybe category, he still plays like he has just made it into the team not someone who has been an established first teamer and international for at least 5 years. He has wasted his time in England to a certain extent but at the same time you could say his 'injury' problems haven't helped.

Injuries have definitely played a bit part role but it’s not like he was pulling trees before his injury issues. He has always looked like a youth prospect barring that project restart season.

Mentality is what separates genuine top players from mediocre ones. Adel Taarabat could’ve been a balon d’or candidate but his mentality and attitude was dross for example.

It says it all when the highlight of Martial’s career was his debut goal against Liverpool. I’ll certainly look back on his time at united as one of those “what could’ve been” as @Anthony said earlier.

This guy can p.iss right off for starters.
I wouldn't trust his money at all (he could be on the bread line in a few years).

Also... He wears a jumper tied over his shoulders

will thay sell thats the thing

Rhetorical?

You've known the answer to that all along mate unless they get the scandalous price they put on the club from the get go that nobody will ever pay for any football club. Until that happens, they've no incentive to relinquish their cash cow.

I don't know how folk like Keegan have managed to keep this newsworthy.
