Hopefully Bailly and DVB go before the deadline. That will be pretty much all the deadwood gone except Maguire and McTominey in ETH first 2 summer 😀
 
And yet, there's so much more to be done:
-Need a new CB, as good as Varane is, he has injury issues
-New rightback, both Dalot and AWB have their limitations that cant/wont be fixed
-Cover for Casemiro, sorry but Amrabat is not a dm like Case is
-Someone to challenge Anthony, workhorse sure, fits the system, but output is bad for an attacking player
-Another striker, Hojlund might be the answer but Martial and Rashfor most def aint.

True. But I would rather start with a clear house like we have now. Under previous managers we have carried to much deadwood for way to many years.
 
Well it’s gonna be a busy day trying to announce 4/5 incomings. Plus whatever outgoings. The spin will be positive. But tbh after the early good start it’s been a bit of a mess of a window.
 
Makes sense as we are short at STR. And he’s showing good improvement.

Joe Hugill staying at #MUFC rather than go on loan. Set to sign new contract next week to 2026, plus option. Lots of interest from League 1 clubs, including Carlisle, but Erik ten Hag thinks best to develop at Carrington then evaluate in January.
 
Ten Hag confirms Reguilon has trained with #MUFC: "He is very experienced player, big clubs, La Liga, Premier League, he has a very good background, he can play intense football. We had a problem with Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia injured, we coped well in an emergency situation."



Ten Hag on whether Amrabat would complete window: "I think we have done good business, we constructed a strong squad + we are ready for the fight." On more signings: "Potentially, yes. Could be."
 
Altay Bayindir update
"He will be in the squad as well, yeah, so happy, now we have to keep the group, again it's fully there, we've covered every position and we have a very good arrival in Altay."
