It would help if Ten Hag wasn’t as stubborn as a mule by reverting back to a single pivot, especially in an away game. As I stated earlier, single pivot setups are exploitable by any team worth their salt with neither fullback willing to invert in the defensive phase. The first goal we conceded epitomizes this.

Since our forward line is woefully off form, what’s the use of going for this Jung ho approach? Just remain defensively solid at least not to lose games.
 
I was wondering if ETH changed his tactic/formation to a Brazilian box formation (4-2-2-2 double pivot & two attacking midfielders with no wingers) would it work?
 
As part of the transaction, INEOS has accepted a request by the Board to be delegated FULL responsibility for the management of the Club’s football operations. This will include all aspects of the men's and women's football operations and Academies, alongside two seats on the Manchester United PLC board and the Manchester United Football Club boards.

INEOS execs Sir Dave Brailsford + Jean-Claude Blanc to join Man Utd football board of directors as part of 25% deal. Paul Mitchell and Dan Ashworth also in talks to join the club at top level.

Watch this space I guess. Ducker is saying the review has already started of the football side of things. 4-6 weeks till it’s completed. A new director of football will be coming in and another member at the top level on the football side.

I’m guessing he’s talking about Mitchell and Ashworth
 
Ducker and the Times also saying that the Glazers can’t veto any decision made by Ratcliffe or Ineos regarding football decisions
 
From the Financual Times: The 300 million pledged investment over the 12 months next will mean that he will acquire extra shares that way too. So it will be at least 30% of the whole club by Christmas 2024.

A reminder that this is not the beginning of the end. It is the beginning of something, but we can’t yet be sure of what. Sir Jim’s team have reached out to us today to say that we will speak in the early new year, which is good news. Also promised regular communication. There are a lot of questions Reds have.

The more I think about it, this deal is heaven for the glazers. If it all goes to further ****, they have a fall guy. If he succeeds, they can continue to bleed the club dry as they have. Win-win situation for them

Exactly. They've 'sold' a quarter of the club with no deal to sell anymore. Ratcliffe was clearly thinking with his heart and not his head on this one.

Actually that isn’t the case according to the Financial Times. Everytime he invests more money into the club he gains more shares. And the way the new class A and B share structure has happened in regards to rights. This can now easily pave the way for the other 4 siblings that want out to do so and SJR has first refusal.
 
Sir David Brailsford and Jean-Claude Blanc have been at Carrington and Old Trafford for a month watching United’s football operation at work. A focus on recruitment and scouting is a major priority, and a sporting director will be appointed soon. [@Tom_Morgs]
