It isn't true that he's penny pinching at every level except at the one that matters the most?
But then again, he wouldn't be a billionaire if he wasn't. He just doesn't seem human at all.

Who isn't? Key players are underperforming hard. You can't do much when you genuinely lack quality all around, and midfield has no creativity whatsoever. If Diallo doesn't do some miracle run or Bruno hits one of his hollywood passes, nothing happens.
 
The people who decided to hire Amorim didn’t really think through how big of a shift it would take to make the team competitive again. They just went for the best manager available at the time, which is such a Glazer move. The one person who didn’t agree with hiring him ended up getting sacked (rightly or wrongly it doesn't matter now). Now you've put all your faith in Amorim, basically acting like he’s going to save Manchester United. But what people don’t get is that if he doesn’t work out, youll be stuck doing another big rebuild to go back to a four-at-the-back system. Few top managers play like Amorim, so you'll just end up stuck in this cycle of starting over instead of moving forward.

If arne slot had to build his Liverpool team from scratch in his vision and philosophy, they would be nowhere as successful as we currently are. Having a sporting idea above him is what has made moving into the PL a seamless transition. I think solving the sporting director issue should've been number one for united. It's not even that Amorim is a poor coach its just that he is such a poor fit for this squad that it makes no sense. As i said above, it's such a glazer move, see the manager playing attacking football and just assume the same will happen over on this side.

I would of rather hired Amorim and take the pain than have kept Ashworth and taken a chance of getting Southgate or Potter.

Also it was Ashworth fault we ultimately decided to give ETH more time. Setting us back further.

The clubs just can absolute mess atm. They’ve made there bed with Amorim which I’m fine with. Now they have to back him and let him do things his way. I like a lot of what I’ve seen in spurts. And I like the way he won’t give into ego/ big names.

You're missing the point. Amorim is probably a good coach but the current squad currently doesn't suit his way. The malaise at Utd is so deep that what happens when you do give him the players that suit his 3-4-3 and it doesn't work out 12 months later? Ten Haag had too much power at UTD with signings and it resulted in the rubbish coming through the door thanks to him. The same cant happen with Amorim and knowing the reasons why Liverpool and West Ham didn't go for him because of him wanting control its not a good idea for the same to happen.

99 % of our squad don’t suit any style of play. I’d rather take the pain now and try something different
 
But it’s only gonna work with “there new/own man” if they don’t get trigger happy and back him.

Ashworth deciding to keep ETH was one of the worse decisions. Luckily we made some good signings in Maz, Yoro, Ugarte, De Light. They can actually fit how Amorim plays.

But the rest I wouldn’t be upset to see leave except Mainoo, Amad. Maybe Dalot.

It wasn't the control so much as he wouldn't change his style of play mate. And we aren't built for that. (Nobody is in England where three at the back rarely works but that's another story.). The same reason Alonso was never a serious consideration.

They wanted someone similar to Jurgen and his principles to seamlessly carry things on.

Difference is you have a well oiled system and players that fit in, years of recruiting to ensure that. It would be moronic to go for someone like Amorim/Alonso and getting someone like Slot that fits perfectly into the system Liverpool has built over the years is paying off.

Billionaires are generally complete ******** by nature to get where they've got in life. But this fella' takes being a despicable shithouse onto a whole other level.

Above and beyond how he's decimating normal peoples lives, you wonder just how long Amorim will get, the worse it gets on the pitch, given INEOS's previous for making sweeping changes regularly?
 
It's an appalling state of of affairs that just keeps getting worse.

There doesn't seem to be any light at the end of the tunnel, and to be honest... After supporting United since the 70's, at this stage, I don't think I even have any desire to go down the tunnel.

Sack Amorim and to cover the expenses cut every charity work United are doing. Heck, increase price for kids, elders and people with disabilities to 200 pounds.
