Not a bad window it's disappointing not to have found a suitable defensive midfielder or to have managed to permenantly got rid of Sancho (I have a feeling they will not be activating that one year option just to ensure the greedy individual actually goes for good) or Rashford but at least someone else will be paying most of their wages this season which will help finances. Hopefully the Turks or Saudis will negoitate and take at least one of Malacia, Onana, or Bayandir. However, results still need to improve but the season is only 3 games in and anything can happen between now and May.Very good window for the club as a whole so far even it ended now. But with talks of potentially Malacia, Onana, Bayandir possibly leaving to Turkey or Saudi. And a couple more expected ins for the women’s team. Only thing I can complain about is not bringing a CM in but with one game a week and with all the other deals done it was gonna be all but impossible this window.
We signed 7 or 8 really exciting players for the academy and had a good clear out and included some good clauses on exiting players. Arranged some really good loans for future potential first team players.
On the womens side we have signed 3 genuine WC players with talks of another 2/3 signings incoming. And we have for the first summer in forever managed to keep all our other big team players.
On the first team the outgoings so far have been excellent pretty much cleared the decks of all the unwanted cleared an absolute massive amount off of the wage bill and raised some good funds for a change and potential funds with clauses inc. And with the potential for it to get better yet.
We have completely rebuilt our attack with premier league proven quality and one of the most exciting potential WC str in Europe. Same goes for the GK everything I’ve read manage to watch has me believing we have a genuine top class GK in the making let’s hope it works out no guarantees on anything in footy but exciting to see him!
Yeah once Casemiro and Bruno refused Saudi the CM dream was over. Really hope Collyer has a good loan then comes back and cements his place as a solid squad player. Casemiro contract out next summer which is a huge bonus. And Bruno will be sold then also. That would be our 2 biggest earners off the books and the wage issue at the club sorted.
