🚨Manchester United are appointing Brentford chief operating officer Ameesh Manek as director of football operations at Old Trafford. Staff at United and Brentford were informed of the news earlier on Wednesday.

Manek will effectively run United's Carrington training ground - the base for the daily football operation - with responsibility for travel, security, training facilities and staff management and infrastructure.

He is the latest leadership appointment by United CEO Omar Berrada. [@SamiMokbel_BBC , @NizaarKinsella] #MUFC

Sir Jim Ratcliffe about what would happen if the Glazers told him to sack Amorim: “It's not going to happen.” [@ExaminerSport, @thetimes]

Sir Jim Ratcliffe on Amorim: “He hasn’t had the best start of seasons. Ruben needs to demonstrate he is a great coach over three years. That’s where I would be.” [@ExaminerSport, @thetimes]

Sir Jim Ratcliffe: “The press, sometimes I don’t understand. They want overnight success. They think it’s a light switch. You know, you flick a switch and it’s all going to be roses tomorrow.” [@ExaminerSport, @thetimes]

With Neville upsetting all the right gammon, and proving his pertinent point in their responses, and now this superb news, this has been a few days to really applaud all things Utd haha.

Manchester United starting line-up vs Everton: Tullis-Joyce, Sandberg, Le Tissier (C), Toone, Malard, Terland, Rolfö, Riviere, Naalsund, Janssen, Miyazawa.

Substitutes: Middleton-Patel, Rendell, Blundell, George, Awujo, Galton, Park, Zigiotti, Williams.

Galton on the bench :)

That’s a huge massive win for the women away at Atletico Madrid winning 0-1 then being down to 10 for 55 mins after one of our CBs was shockingly sent off. Ref was bent as **** but it didn’t matter :)

U18s lost 2-1 away at Forest. First dropped points of the season. Luckily City lost so we keep our advantage at the top of the table

I didn't see the match?
Was the ref to blame? Or the sky? Shape of the ball?
Let me guess!!! Manchester United had an unfair advantage because they were given an extra 10 mins in bed last Wednesday and promised a Labubu each if they won?

Was expecting a draw maximum. Just happy they showed some fight and still had the quality not to waste the good chances we created. Cunha and Mbuemo have been absolute class signings. Even when we haven’t played well this season we have carried a huge threat going forward. The new GK looks a good component and confident.
