The Manchester United Thread

Shame Cunha misses out. But happy to see what Zirkzee can do in Sesko place till he recovers. Also great to see Martinez back in the squad. And excited with Shea Lacey on the bench. What a talant!

Well that’s why Amorim doesn’t want Zirkzee at the club. Absolute nothing of a player. Playing Mazzaroui at WB was a disaster and super negative.

But the loss is on Amorim. Picking Bruno at CM again. It’s cost us the goal he was nowhere near his man positionally then when he got near him he never even put a challenge in. This will cost us more points and likely him his job eventually.

This won't be a pleasant watch.

I'll give it 30% of my attention (similar to what the players do on the pitch).

Good win! First half was a poor watch from both sides. But 2nd half was a lot better from us. That’s the team I wanted to start against Everton.

When we play 2 defensive WBs we tend to concede more and not create as much. When we start Amad at RWB we average 2+ gls per game this season.

Mount has to start till Cunha is back and keep Amad at RWB. Dalot still makes my eyes bleed but was better today.

Great to see Martinez back. I would stick him LCB and Shaw LWB.

Good to Martinez back but he should be eased back into the team eventually Shaw needs to go back to the LWB role as that is where he is most effective especially when compared to Dalot and Dorgu. Not losing is starting to become a habit but I think supporters will be happy once the defence starts keeping clean sheets. However, most fans will be happy to see the club in 6th and above the majority of the clubs who qualified for Europe last season.

Starting XI: Lammens; Mazraoui, Heaven, Shaw; Amad, Casemiro, Fernandes (C), Dalot; Mbeumo, Cunha; Zirkzee.

Subs: Bayindir, Dorgu, Malacia, Martinez, Yoro, Mainoo, Mount, Ugarte, Lacey

Getting low on fit CBs

WTF is it with this team and playing at home. Every week absolutely **** thrown out on the pitch. Least when we play away from home we show some fight and urgency. We play every home game like it’s a pre season friendly. Well and truly pissec off after that especially after Everton. Embarrassing!!!

That despicable POS Ratcliffe and his vain ego, kept the Glazers in power.

NEVER forget that.
Glazers would never sell their cash cow that easily. What's mindboggling is that Ratcliffe, who's in charge of football operations, is still holding Amorim, who's antithesis of everything United is/was. He's a dead man and everyone knows it. If EtH set back United 5 years, Amorim set back at least 10.

Was talking to my friend few weeks ago, he was big "Amorim out" guy after the last season. I wasn't convinced, but he deserved full preseason and some of "his" transfers. I completely flipped after Grimsby, because if you can't motivate your mostly reserve players to put a shift, there's nothing you can do.
Even after the purple patch and few wins in a row, noticeably against Lpool, you could see that just wasn't it. It was more about opponents being bad on that day than United being good. My friend was telling me how winds have finally turned, but I knew. I ******* knew it was all just a fluke. And unfortunatly I was proven right.
He has a full year with his "system", it is not working guy. Change at least something. You are not Sacchi, Cruyff or Michels, get your head out of your egoistic ****, take a good look at the mirror and try to do something.
