I still stand by my opinion that this is an incredibly early April Fools joke

get rid of him, no player is bigger than the club

I dunno why you think Rooney loves United so much Stubbs, he's not exactly born and bred Man United and said he'd stay at Everton but he didn't so you shouldn't take his word for anything. Footballers come and go and if Rooney is unhappy at United, he's better off leaving.

People saying Rooney leaving will hinder his career is just ridiculous, he is understand huge pressure to perform well for England and Man United every game and it's obviously affected him along with his personal life.

I don't think Rooney is trying to be bigger than the club either.

where have i said Rooney loves United?

all i have said, as fans we feel let down by him considering all United have done for him and his career

could well be an active January transfer window then, with Rooney, Adebayor, maybe Torres and Benzema all wanting out

Not sure his leaving is really going to better his career :S Hopefullyhe will come out with the reason behind all this soon. IMO though, if someone from the future told me he would stay at United, i wouldnt be at all surprised. like some people have said, i think part of him must know United if a good club for him to be at. One thing is sure though, if he does go, United will seriously need to buy a replacement

i have a theory that one of the england squad last wednesday or tuesday has said something to him

these things dont just come out of the blue

rooney: i am not injured
SAF: rooneys is not fit yet, he is still recovering form the ankle injury
today on SKY:rooneys picked up another knock to the ankle

the old king is right again arise lord ferguson

Surely you should be thanking Rooney for all he has done for United?

and we will thank him for the impact he has had, but fans dont think like that when a top top player wants out, we made Wayne the player he is and if reports are correct, he wants to leave because he feels he can earn more money at a club with more ambition. the one way is down when leaving United.

thanks for the goal times Wayne but if he wants to leave then leave, dont carry this saga on for months like the Ronaldo one did.

Ferguson has known since 14th August that Rooney wanted to leave. If there was no way back for Rooney, he would've sold him in the Summer and brought someone in. He obviously feels that there is some hope that Wayne Rooney can stay at the club. It hasn't come out of the blue.

Ferguson knows this game like a priest knows the bible. He knows what he has to do, it's just whether or not Rooney wants to co-operate.

i dont think anyone would argue with that mate but i for one would love nothing more than for Wayne to come out tomorrow and say "i want to stay" (earlier on i was amazed, bit ****** off at the news, might of come across differently) but i really can't see it. Wayne, the same as Fergie seems to be the saught of person, when his mind is made up, there is no changing it.

I think it all depends on how his form plays out. If he starts banging in the goals and starts getting praised again and gets happy then I think there's a chance he could stay. If he keeps playing like this and getting slated by everyone (including the fans) then he'll leave.

we never said we didnt appriciate him but its the same as Zamora saying to fulham f*ck of u tw@s

Yeah, you'd be right... if Rooney said "**** off you twats" to United, but he hasn't.

:$

Wow, did not know about that. So Rooney could buy himself out and then claim the money back through a huge signing on fee - which he would easily get as he would virtually be a free transfer.

Exactly. Or the other club could.

There's more chance of tottenham keeping a 3-0 lead over man utd :P

TBH we would never get him with our wage structure, but, Spurs are a team on the up, where as it looks as if United are a team on the decline, we could even finish above you this season, so he may be interested. :P

Finally i have to admit we are in a decline and there is every possibility that you may finish above man utd but staying on topic you can have rooney for modric, bale and van der vaart. Deal?
