The Premier League Thread

This will be bad if the remove relegation and promotion. Considering the amount of money that is in play and law suits that can follow. There must be some compromise made. Relegate bottom 2 and promote top2. Or promote top 2 and dont relegate anybody, thus having more games next season but relegating 5 clubs to even up the structure again.

There goes Gordon Taylor talking out of his backside again. Why is that even getting media traction when it clearly would never happen?

And I withdraw my earlier sympathy for teams against losing home advantage when they then turn around and are sound with it so long as there's no relegation.

F them!

Merkel confirmed today that German league is free to resume end of May. Think other top leagues will hold fire till after that to see how it goes.

This is just wrong there should be absolute transparency with CoVID testing!! But hey it could hurt there bottom line if those results show bad tests results. Money money ******* money

Kicker reporting that the DFL told all 36 professional clubs in Germany not to share test results with the press:

So according to the Mail today, other PL could threaten to relegate the bottom clubs who vote against the neutral stadium idea.

This is pure bullying because of money. Totally against this if trur

Some news from Italalian football testing that’s going on.
4 people have tested positive at Sampdoria as well after players and staff from Fiorentina. That's 10 players and staff between two clubs already in Serie A. Plus 1 player from Torino also confirmed.
