Plymouth gonna get raided next month
Bhasera & Johnson should cover 700 - 900k which would be enough to pay off our high court bill- Hoping we can keep hold of BWP & Noone! Also Fallon & Maclean are set to leave Argyle, on a full-time basis.

Villa are also keen to sign striker Nicklas Bendtner from Arsenal, who may also be joined in leaving the Emirates by fellow striker Carlos Vela, midfielder Denilson and goalkeeper Manuel Almunia.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon is eager to bring out-of-favour Aston Villa defender Richard Dunne and midfielder Stephen Ireland to Parkhead on loan.

Real Madrid centre-back Pepe has received a lucrative offer from Manchester City, according to Spanish newspaper AS.

The Hammers may also look to sign Manchester United's Michael Owen on loan after the striker admitted he may have to leave Old Trafford to reignite his career.

Under-fire Aston Villa boss Gerard Houllier may be running out of time to turn things around at Villa Park with club owner Randy Lerner growing increasingly concerned with his team's league position.

West Ham eyeing bid for Reading striker Long.

The Daily Express says the Hammers are willing to offer £2 million to land the prolific forward.

Long, 23, was part of Steve Coppell’s Premier League squad with Sidwell at Reading.

In his five and a half years there, he has scored 31 goals in 150 appearances – including twice in his last two outings against Bristol City and Derby.

Long also has five goals in 16 games for the Republic since making his debut against San Marino in February 2007.

Manchester United looking at Lassana Diarra according to the Sun

wouldn't be the worst signing in the world but I do think £12m could have been better spent on a more attacking midfielder ie Van Der Vaart or Ozil in the summer. With Park out for the next 7 gamres and Valencia still a few months away from return, perhaps we would be better suited signing a winger? Alexis Sanchez would be nice...

Not a transfer as such but still the funniest thing i have ever heard in my life without a dout. Why do the daily fail do this, its like they don't want to be taken seriously as journelists. Their latest joke is this one, Rafa Benitez to replace.......Yes thats right Carlo Ancelotti!!!!!!

Marseille want Kakuta on loan, i think if we sign a midfielder in January then we should look into this. The lad needs to be playing regular to try and fulfill his potential. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_6623186,00.html

You're v. hopeful! Gradel's much much better than Best.

Manchester United will allow Federico Macheda to go out on loan.

Somewhat old news, but still funny. Bellamy wants to go to Feyenoord when Cardiff promotes (which means Man City would let him go for free, otherwise we could not pay him :) He fell in love with our club when he played here with Newcastle some years ago

Craig Bellamy to Feyenoord just a cowboy story - unless Manchester City give him away, say Dutch club

Feyenoord sporting director Leo Beenhakker has told Craig Bellamy to 'stop the nonsense' as the Wales striker continues to be linked with a move to Rotterdam.
Bellamy, on loan at Cardiff from Manchester City, reportedly told Dutch fans in a pub that he would join Feyenoord if Cardiff are promoted, but Beenhakker is not ready to consider a deal for the 31-year-old.
'I got him on the phone, I sent him a detailed text message, to ask him if he will stop the nonsense,' Beenhakker told AD Sportwereld.

Next flight to Rotterdam? Bellamy supposedly fancies a Dutch adventure

'I said to him, "Friend, you can say anything you want, but while you are still owned by Manchester City, I cannot".
'It is as simple as that. As soon as he is free from his club, he knows where he can find me. Until then, these are cowboy stories.

Warning: Beenhakker

'I saw he said in the media, "Beenhakker takes me seriously". That bothers me. There’s just a huge price tag on him. If it comes off, then we can talk.'
Meanwhile, Beenhakker revealed Feyenoord may seek compensation from the Danish Football Association as Jon Dahl Tomasson remains sidelined with a tendon injury suffered at the World Cup this summer.
Beenhakker dismissed suggestions the 34-year-old’s contract may be cancelled, but compared the situation to the injury suffered by Holland’s Arjen Robben, for which Bayern Munich have sought compensation, with UEFA set to rule on the dispute with the KNVB.
'I have had brief contact with the Danish Football Association,' Beenhakker said. 'We have decided to wait and see how UEFA handles the case of Arjen Robben.
'We are in exactly the same situation with Tomasson. I recognise he is not as big a name, and we are a smaller club than Bayern, and we do not make so much noise.
'But if compensation is paid to Bayern, then we will go to the Danish FA. The case of Robben will set the precedent in Europe.'

What a load of rubbish!

Leeds have been linked with Richard Dunne, Michael Johnson and Jonathon Woodgate all on loans. Read here. The only 1 I could see happening is the Johnson loan, the other 2 I can't see happening, though it would be a major boosts to our abysmal defence.
